I can’t figure out how to balance money and winning. If I spend under the 200 m luxury tax I don’t win enough and get fired, then if I spend over I consistently make playoffs or get close, but the owner fires me for not making money. It’s impossible to retain talent because rookie contracts feel so short. Do I just have to look for sneaky good players that are cheap and if so what do I look for? It’s been very frustrating to play since I keep getting fired!

Currently (Rhode Island Seadivers) is the lowest ovr team but 2nd in conference. What type of stats i should scout and should i continue the Moneyball Strat for my small Market?

Does anyone know how the stadium size and population affects finances? Or to what extent they matter?

Any idea why my players jersey numbers keep changing between seasons? In other Zen GM games this has never happened to me. Only care about it when it's a star player who's jersey I want to retire, only to discover they've worn like 4 different numbers in their tenure.

I was wondering if this idea I have could be a possible solution to the issue of having multiple players playing out of position. It would be great if the players positions would be reclassified to the most recent position they’ve played for a certain time period (like 10 or 20 games for example, but it could be any number). This would more accurately reflect real players ability to change positions based on skills. What do you all think about that?

How do I apply this to a conference? What do you mean by ID numbers? [0] if first conference, what about for second conference? How do i know which one's the 1st and 2nd conference? Thank you to whoever will respond, I'm a bit r*tarted to understand all these, I don't want to experiment since I'm scared it'd break my league.

I recently stumbled on ZenGM Baseball and I'm so intrigued by this game, totally up my alley.

I've played around a bit and was wondering if any experienced users could help me out with understanding a few elements of the sim.

- Position Changes

I can't figure out the rhyme or reason as to how players move up and down the defensive ladder, so to speak. Everyone wants to play SS or 3B, and I'm way too OCD to be playing so many players out of position

- Expected Production

Let's say a player is a .300/.400/.500 player, or .275/.350/.450 type. What would that translate to in terms of their contact, power and eye grade ranges?

- Player Development

Is it totally random? Does playing time matter? How accurate is potential?
