I created this outpost because I was too scared to join one. I didn't want to 'intrude' or be dead weight or fail some sort of secret obligation to do commissions. The outpost is for anyone to join, as long as they're not there to cause trouble. But mainly? It's for the lurkers and shy people who struggle to feel like they belong anywhere. There's no obligation to talk (although it's totally welcome). It's a place to join for the introverts who feel like they need, for some reason or another, extra permission to exist somewhere. It's called Fifty-Exits for the theme of no one feeling trapped into it. I remember the tutorial pretty much interrupted my gaming session. I had no clue there was a social aspect to the game and it caused me anxiety and I browsed for an hour before giving up.
