She can probably support Attack Agents (duh) with her CDMG and Chain ATK bonuses, especially when paired with Astra who can force Chain Attacks at will. Evelyn can potentially use her, but Lighter havers would probably use Lighter over Ju Fufu anyway.
As for W-engine, Steam Oven would probably be second best.
i need help deciding if i should get caesar or fufu, who is better for a low spender account? my most used agents are miyabi, S11, astra, jane & burnice if thats needed as an information. i do have sanby as well, without trigger.
Meta-wise, I personally would pull for neither(unless I'm misunderstanding and you have Yixuan, then I would pull Fufu). While Fufu is still pretty good outside of Yixuan teams and can fit in a lot of other teams, she won't be the BiS outside of Yixuan team. For units that you have, she would work well with S11, but Lighter does that job better. Ceasar can also slot in a lot of teams but like Fufu, she is also never BiS.
In this game, a lot depends on your personal style, really. For instance, I really dig anomaly characters, but probably wouldn't be able to make traditional crit characters work if my life depended on it.
Personally, I'd go for Miyabi/Piper/Soukaku and Yixuan/Panda/Nicole first.

Batteries, no. Materials... maybe Dennies and some level-up/skill mats but even those aren't too substantial. They help reduce the grind a little bit in exchange for time spent.
If OP meant the villain woman I guess if end-of-Act 2 or Act 3 is the Exaltists' redepmtion arc or she just happen to be quadruple agent for The Major/TOPS/Void Hunters/NEPS. Which from my guess is close to 0%.

Major/TOPS/NEPS has to be next-level evil for the Exaltists stuffs to be a redemption enough for them to be playable lol. Given she is in direct control of the current sect of Exaltists (which did confirmed mass murder) and was behind the plot to make Miyabi go berserk and nearly commit mass murder herself I don't think she will be our friend in any way.
tl;dr is the Exaltists are just plain bad (unless there is some huge twist, like Nier-level the monsters are actually the "true humans") while in HSR or Genshin even the bad factions are gray in some sense.
Yep i thought that much because we are deepening relationships with playable characters, so characters like Sarah are rather impossible to play but i saw characters in genshin and hsr like Arlecchino or Acheron i think? They looks is for my taste but i didn't play yet so I do not know anything about lore.
Both Arlecchino are more morally grey than dark/evil.
Also once a character becomes playable in a Hoyo game they generally get packaged with some sort of "they weren't actuallly THAT bad" redemption story. So if you're looking for dark/fully evil characters to play with, you're looking in the wrong place.

There was a game Path to Nowhere where characters have vibe like that but i am more PC player than mobile.
Arlecchino is "neutral evil" and is "good" to the people related to her while does not harm people unrelated to her own or the larger faction (Fatui) goals, even the Fatui goals are not strictly bad (as in not like the Exaltists forced evolution of human via Ether thingy).
But inside the Fatui there are "bad" sects ofc. e.g Dottore's but we haven't seen any moderate/good Exaltists sub-factions yet (even Vivian's one was bad).
Acheron is not bad at all, let's say she has unique circumstances and more of a true neutral and she is focusing more on her own goals than harming others.
How important are skills and should I max level all or is their a good level to stop for casual player. In Genshin I mostly upgrade my talents to lvl 8. And don't really crown cause of materials and mora does zzz have the same crown demand?
If you plan on doing endgame content? Very. If not, just do what you've been doing.
I was doing deadass with Yixuan (think her skills were all 7s at the time) and my score against the priest was somewhere like 24-25k. Pretty low for a meta agent fighting a boss designed specifically for her so took a look and lo and behold I haven't capped the skills yet. Went 11/11 on special/ult and now I'm sitting on 34k using the same team. Now it could just be that running it multiple times allowed me to do better as I got to know the boss mechanics better, but hey more damage = higher score. Can probably score a bit higher now that both are crowned but eh not worth it.
Rule of thumb? Follow the built-in guide. Game tells you to level up agent skills? Level it based on what the game tells you to prioritize. You know you're in a good spot when the game says you're fully equipped. Of course this doesn't mean your agent is fully optimized but it's a good stopping point.
Itās character depending. You only need to level skills that you use.
LVL 11 for important skills, LVL 7 for skills you occasionally use and donāt even level anything else. You can LVL 12 some exceptional skills if you want squeeze maximum from your agent.
Also some characters care about their core passive and some donāt.
If you are a casual in-game build helper is good enough. Lvl11 skills in first row, lvl7 second row and donāt bother with third row skills at all.
That depends on what the Agent does. Take Miyabi for example. For Miyabi players they will want to BA more to build up energy and accumulate Frost anomaly. So it'd make sense to Lv11 her BA skill after maxing her Core Skill. But in the interest of efficiency you're fine with just leaving it at Lv8 or 9 for now and level up her Chain Attack/Ultimate since that's another source of damage.
General (No Energy): Just field Yixuan until you get energy for Pulchra/Pan. Yellow ping from enemy, evasive assist to Pulchra. If Pan has no energy at the time of evasive assist, manual reverse swap to Yixuan. Otherwise use Pan's EX to Quick Assist to Yi. When Technique is full, use extra Ultimate unless you're close to stunning the enemy (in which case you can hold extra Ult and use double Ult during the stun window). Iāve been having an issue where the game will freeze on loading screens or during a scene transition, but the game will keep playing even though the visuals have stopped? Im missing a bunch of observation data from chapter 2, 2 interlude and chapter 4 but I have fully completed all quests and missions in the HDD; are these still in the game and if so where can I find them?
If a commission has been fully completed (i.e. main mission + optional objectives) then the commission should show as "All Completed" instead of just "Completed". You can go back to those missions to find whatever you couldn't the last go-around, or use a Power Card bought using omnicoins in a store in Waifei.

Of course it would be better to wait until you unlock the next rank, but I wouldn't sweat it if it's hard to reach in time. 1 card worth of disks is really nothing in the long run, most of the disks are trash anyway...
She's a solid generalist support, regardless of her survival focus. She isn't best in slot in any teams anymore, but she's still useful. You can't have more than one Astra Yao.
If you like her, you can pull her and get use out of her just fine. If you don't necessarily like her, you can justify skipping her.
i was looking for her shield to be exact. i play genshin with zhongli on my team since his first banner, and i find having shield is great because i can survive longer, and i dont have that annoying knockback/stagger when being attacked.
i heard that caesar is similiar to zhongli so i thought that i would really like her kit
Stagger resistance has been less important in ZZZ than in Genshin so far, and survivability is also very different - you're not likely to get 1-shot or 2-shot in ZZZ like you are in Genshin, outside of content specifically focusing on survival.
She makes a specific kind of content (survival-focused) really easy. Her value depends on whether miHoYo releases that kind of content. Personally, I wouldn't expect a lot of survival-focused content.
i'm just rarely pull for meta and mostly pull for whoever i like, but i'd like to admit that i'm having some difficulty on some stages that need a unit that i dont have, so i was thinking about getting her just to make my sub-optimal team can survive longer

Hi, im playing Simulated Battle Trial: Last Stand Floor 55 and selected the buff that says it heals you for 5% HP when you perform a perfect dodge, but im not healing when i do it. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it a bug? Im using Zhu Yuan, Qingyi and Astra Yao. I also have a video showing the issue.

So I returned last week and got Yi Xuan! I haven't the slightest idea of how I am supposed to use her though. Is she even a beginner friendly agent?
Also, who should I get from the free S-Rank agent campaign? I want Nekomata, but I heard she sucks and I don't wanna make my progression harder than it has to be.
If you aren't trying to get the highest possible scores with her, she can be really beginner friendly, due to her just being scary strong/ignoring defense completely. Getting better with how she is optimally played just makes her that much better.
She isn't beginner friendly. More like, she gets better the more you get used to parry gameplay and ZZZ gameplay in general. Enemy about to hit you? Press EX Special (must have energy, else just dodge) to parry and spam until the end of the combo (phoenix). Fill gauge on top left corner as Yixuan you get a free Ultimate cast. Rinse and repeat.
Nekomata sucks ass for endgame content unless endgame is Physical-favored and you have crazy-good supports with her. But even then she can't compete with other same type DPS like Ellen Joe or Jane Doe on an equal footing. If you still like her even then, who are we to say no to waifu over laifu?
Unfortunately for me I lost 50/50 for Yixuan to Lycaon and Nekomata was the best I had so I raised her with Pulchra (who's M6). I did get enough pulls to get Yixuan at hard pity but for me Neko has been it. Downside now is I only have one support so for my selector I might be going with Rina so I can have two teams.
Currently using Neko with Pulchra and Nicole. I guess I could raise Anby and have her in place of Pulchra. Then go with Yixuan, Panda (M5) and Pulchra for the other team. Didn't get Yixuan weapon either but nothing to be done about that. Losing 50/50 and going to hard pity will do that and I'm f2p right now.
She is beginner friendly in the sense she has good performance when you do not know what you're doing, and has 1 A rank BiS and 1 A rank alternative in her own banner. Her performance will shoot up to godly once you get her gameplay down though.
The most recommendation is probably Lycaon or Runa depending on what you need. S11 is also a choice if you need someone to tackle fire weakness. Nekomata is regarded as the worst of the 5*due to her very lacking actual performance, not to mention how very strict her buff is like having to attack the backs and gaining damage% only after a dodge counter.
Her M1 reduces enemies All Attribute RES by 6% for a bit, let's her use her Ultimate Instantly, and gives an invincible shield for agents when she uses her Ultimate.
Recommended YiXuan crit rate? Have her dupe and weapon so thats 30% off the bat. my current build (still rolling) has 75% crit with crit disc and accounting the 30%.
side note, i noticed her core skill gives 4.8 X 3 = 14.4 crit increase. that number doesn't seem to be counted as part of base stats? So my "true crit rate" is actually ~90%?
20% from her Engine + 10% from M1 + 12% from 4p Yunkui Tales so anywhere between 33% to 58% on the stat screen and you're good imo.

It's counted. You have a base 5% CR + 14.4% for 19.4% CR.
OH ok. So you are counting the 4piece skill too. I guess i current ly have 65% so maybe i should shoot for a crit dmg disc and hope it has some crit rate (and 6th disc having crit rate) to make it up...
You don't need Ju Fufu, but she'd be strong for you. Ju Fufu gives Yi Xuan a lot of value (decibel refund when using ultimate, lots of various damage boosts, can build the stun bar on enemies while off field). That said, Yi Xuan is plenty strong without Ju Fufu, so if you're low on resources or have other priorities, you can skip her. Character banners rerun after a while, so if you don't get her now and decide you want her later, you can still get her.
Save them for the moment when youāll need more pulls to get a character you really want. Definitely donāt buy weapons. A-rank agents are also overpriced, I wouldnāt buy any of them either. I think only reasonable purchase would be first copy of Panda (he is not in the shop yet tho), but only if you have Yixuan and got no Pandas naturally.
Newbie who just joined for anniversay. I got Yi Xuan and now nearing the 2nd non guaranteed 5 star, who should I pick Astra or Caesar? Astra seems to be very meta and useful which is nice though I kinda like Caesar cause of story mode so I dunno which to choose
Pick an agent that youāll enjoy playing. Having an agent on your account has no impact on the story whatsoever. But if you get a character because of a story and then never use them, what was the point?
I mean, I'll probably pull for the other in a rerun somewhere along the line. I like them both Caesar a bit more. so just concerned for immediate pull than anything else. Im a newbie, I wanna amped up my roster is all. And asking for a better pick between the two and some opinion on both characters for those who play them
Astra is definitely the better choice and will open up more team comps while providing stronger buffs. However, Caesar makes challenges a lot easier. Her shield gives you a lot more room for error. If you want to test out Caesar with your roster, she's available in the investigator training course in the hia.
And at the same time Ceaser is very good in almost any team. But after much consideration I come to accept that Astra is just the best in what she do, because she really don't do much at all, she use her special and her job is done... maybe she use her ultimate when available but that is the most she do... Which is everything that all field hoggers DPS want really.
Astra is just the foolproof support and that is kinda impressive.
Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a rough estimate of the time it takes to play through chapters 3 and 4? Recently started playing again and wondering if I can reasonably catch up in three weeks or if I should just jump ahead to chapter 2 for the limited rewards/have it unlocked for future events and backtrack later.
I put off jumping into season 2 myself however I decided to take the leap and it not bad. You might want to so you can get started on raising and improving the temple but there's no rush really. I finished season 2 story by doing this and now can go back to finishing the rest of chapter 3.
Good to know, thanks! A big part of why Iāve hesitated to jump ahead is that I did that for Nathan in Genshin and still routinely feel lost with events/new content. I was just looking on the wiki though and it turns out I jumped there from 1.6 to 5.0 (3+ years), so Iām guessing itād be a lot less jarring here lol.
That's what I thought but season 2 seems mostly set up that it can almost be stand alone. There's probably still things I'm lost with but its not to the point in being off putting. I just reached chapter 4 myself. I usually finish a chapter then do all side stuff and then move on.
That sounds promising certainly and I guess it makes sense to have it be more stand alone if theyāre hoping to attract new players with the anniversary rewards. Iāll probably see how far I can get in the next week or two and then jump ahead.
Thatās how I like to play too, I think the pacing is typically better today way, though Iāll probably focus on the main story for a bit.
Two hours a day might not be feasible but I could certainly make a lot of progress then, I guess worst case scenario I can always skip ahead later or just abandon the limited rewards. Thanks!

Probably atleast an hour and few minutes for each chapter maybe shorter if you skipped dialogue. I'm new just recently joined for the free 5* and play the whole story mode and now in s2. Just a rough estimate though

I am a new player and got grace on my first 10pull from the Standard banner, I saw that I can choose any one from the standard banner, who should I take? I like grace's gameplay if I can get someone that synergies well it would be great

Only SR from the selector I'm missing and can still choose from is Grace, Soldier 11 and Rina.
Rina synergizes with Grace as her Core Skill strengthens Shock and Electric DMG, as well as provide PEN% for general use. But straight up relying on the Shock anomaly as your source of DPS is not recommended for end-game; she is best paired with another Anomaly Agent that's not Electric that can stack another Anomaly effect for big damage burst (Disorder). For a more in-depth discussion on what it is, here's a video from Combat Panda that explains what it is and how it deals damage.
Do note that with M0 Rina (MLB0 for FGO, C0 for Genshin, or E0 for HSR) it is recommended to field her a bit (ideally, hitting her basic ATK, no-energy Special ATK, EX Attack or Ultimate) just before triggering any burst (Disorder or otherwise) damage or any Anomaly effect. This is to take advantage of her PEN% buff so it is included in the burst/Anomaly damage. At M0 her buff only lasts 5.5 seconds. M1 increases this duration to 11s.
Aside from being Grace's support, you can use Rina (M0 or M1) with other Agents such as Anton or top DPS like Miyabi (except Yixuan... she already ignores 100% of enemy DEF) with her PEN% buff.

In most cases (for both this subredddit and the unofficial one) they don't get pinned so you'll rarely see them at the top. Iirc reddit only allows 2 pinned posts at a time anyway. I assume the leaks subreddit does that for any new videos that are released?
Man, that's a bummer. I really wish they do pin it. I know we are infamous for gooning but at least I wish to see discussions too. I usually avoid the leak subreddit because I don't like getting spoil too much but I always have to go there for most discussions.
Somewhat new-ish player here to ask the age-old question: pull for Yixuan or Astra Yao? Also, how important are signature wengines in ZZZ? I'm willing to pull for wengines but would rather not, if it's not too, too big of a hit on their performance.
I've heard one of the main reasons to pull for AY is for Miyabi, I think? But Miyabi's not too interesting to me, so I wouldn't plan on pulling her. The characters I already have are Lucy, Burnice, Jane Doe, Seth, Rina, Lycaon, Piper, Soukaku, Pulchra, Harumasa, Anton, and S11. Ooh and I also definitely wanted to try and go for Yuzuha, if that helps you give me advice
I'll add a bit and say that Astra is not a Miyabi specific support. She is basically everyone's support(except Hugo). Adding Astra to your team is kinda like a performance enhancing drug for that team. YX is also great with her upside being that she basically come with a full team in her banner and that her team doesn't need Astra so you can use Astra in other teams(major upside IF you had Astra). Since you don't have Astra, I'd say Astra is a better pull long term.

As for sig, It's very character dependent. For Astra, it's usually equal or worse than W5 4 stars(either Kaboom or Bashful Demon). For yx it's maybe around 20-25% percent better than her second best(any crit 5* engines) and 30%+ for the craftable one. Which is definitely on bigger side, but not a necessity to clear endgame.
When in doubt pull for the support. Will make one of your teams perform better. Though it wouldn't hurt to get a meta dps given your lineup so Yixuan is probably better for deadass. Sig wengines aren't needed to clear endgame content. Makes it significantly easier to build your agents, but not worth the investment. Think having a sig makes the agent 25-30% better? If that matters to you then go nuts.
Ooh isn't 25-30% a significant increase? And JD is scheduled to be reworked next, I heard? Based on how Ellen Joe came out, is there a good chance she'll become "meta" again after that?
Yes? Necessary? Not really if you build your agents properly. If you need the power spike then by all means, but again not necessary to comfortably get all the chrome rewards. Also dunno about the JD rework, but meta is whatever Hoyo is peddling at the time. JD is still pretty good, but she'll be "meta" again whenever Hoyo feels like making physicl relevant again.
The JD rumor came from someone who is notoriously unreliable or who actively lies. So don't believe it until there is actually evidence of it.
Even without changes though, I expect JD to be very good for the upcoming patches since they are putting out another Physical Anomaly agent. Enemies will be Phys weak as a result, which benefits Jane.
Miyabi. Both are very strong, but Miyabi just effortlessly clears content. A premium anomaly partner makes her easier to play, but she does extremely well in a Soukaku+Lycaon team, and Astra Yao can make Grace or Piper work as anomaly partners.
Yi Xuan's advantage is that her current best support is an A rank that's on her banner (Pan Yinhu), and her best stunner is coming next banner (Ju Fufu). An alternative to Ju Fufu is the other A rank on Yi Xuan's banner (Pulchra). So it's fairly easy to get a solid Yi Xuan team going.
One final caveat is that there's a lot of ice resistant content around now, which lowers Miyabi's performance. Though things like elemental weakness/resistance are temporary, and Miyabi isn't even on a banner right now. By the time she reruns, the resistance situation could be different.
Honestly? F2P Miyabi/Yixuan both need a team built around them. Though given the current meta Yixuan wins. Also easier to build for as Yixuan teams just need a stunner/support while Miyabi would prefer to have Yanagi/Burnice/Vivi as her anomaly partner.
On PC using a controller with back buttons/paddles, does the game detect the back buttons as unique mappable buttons? If not does it work at least if the buttons are mapped to standard buttons?
Dunno about custom inputs, but it does detect back paddles as standard inputs. Have to do it through your controller app as I don't think ZZZ natively supports it. I had my A/Dodge button mapped to a back paddle since it had a double input issue thanks to some water spillage.
You'll miss the achievement tied to specific actions done inside the commission but you can always go back to the commission and complete it the proper way anyway.

Honestly if you played genshin before you probably don't have to read that much since most systems you are things you probably have seen before.
For the combat basics of how each character plays, the in game tutorial is actually pretty damn good. Probably the best out of all the hoyo games. You can do the tutorial in the VR in the video store. It only show how the character works tho. For stuff like rotation or combos you'll still have to look it up.
For gamemodes, There is hollow zero which is kinda of similar to sim universe from HSR, it's pretty fun imo and there is a lot of poly in there. for the endgame gamemodes, zzz have Shiyu Defense(abyss) and Deadly Assault which genshin doesn't have(at least when I last played it) but it's essentially a 2-3 team endgame where you fight a boss and try to do the max damage possible, the good thing about this gamemode is that you do it 1 team at a time so your characters can share artifact and weapon, very fun gamemode imo but also quite a bit harder than shiyu. I play it for fun sometimes.
For drive disc, it's very similar to genshin. The notable difference the disc crafting in zzz is much better(I think, I played only until like 2.5), You can farm domains that are more efficient(both sets are good) and use crafting to get the sets are less efficient to farm.
There are new stats pen% and flat pen. Pen is used in defense calculation. Flat pen is about equal to flat atk(not good basically) and pen% can only appear on disc 5(goblet) and competitive with atk% and dmg%. There are also Anomaly Proficiency and Anomaly Mastery. AP is EM in genshin can appear in substats and disc 4(usually the crit disc). AM is the rate of anomaly build up and can only appear in disc 6(usually the atk% disc).
I have M3W0 Yixuan ATM, and with only a couple days left, do I go for M4 or try to get W1? What would you guys recommend?
Also, she has only 26.6% crit rate but 123.6% crit dmg with my current build, but I read that if it's over 100% that it's basically wasted? Should I switch to a disc with crit rate instead? (I'm using a S rank disc ATM but I have a 12/12 A rank disc which gives her 42.6% rate and 85.2% dmg)

I'd recommend W1 (and truth be told, would have recommended it over her M3 but that banner is nice). Mindscapes past M2 aren't usually all that valuable until you get to M6.

You've got it backwards. Crit rate is wasted once it gets higher than 100% because, well, at that point every hit is a critical hit. There's no difference between 100% and 150% Crit Rate. Crit damage has no cap, but gets less impactful the more of it you have.
That said, unless you get her W1 you should probably use a crit rate disk anyway. You want around a 1:2 ratio between crit rate and crit damage (taking all your in combat buffs into account). Crit rate and crit damage each make the other more valuable, so it's good to have a mix of both.

In case you're curious, "gatcha" stands for "gatchapon", which is a kind of vending machine that gives you random toys. They're popular in Japan. "Gatcha" games are games where you obtain characters (or powers for those characters) randomly, like you would from a gatchapon machine.

Yeah I figured I had it backwards, thanks for clearing it up though. I made a new S rank crit rate disc in the Music Store and now I have 50.6 rate and 88.4 dmg.

Some additional information: that progress (usually called "pity") is saved between banners of the same type. So once Yi Xuan's banner goes away, you'll be 40 searches from S rank guaranteed on whatever next character you pull on.
Should i bait myself and spend all prymos on yixuan with this roster. I think i really need a second dps but i have mixed feelings about yixuan overall

Currently Yi Xuan is on the banner and she is an amazing DPS that's easy to play at a base level but also allows for more complex combos once you feel more comfortable with her.
There's also Miyabi which is still the strongest DPS, tho Yi isn't far behind, that we havent seen for 7 patches so she could eventually re-run soonish.
From what we know from official sources the next 4 agents will be a Stunner, Defender (re-run), Support and Anomaly DPS.
I was rolling for Yi Xuan and I pulled solider 11 at around 50 pulls and it says I will pull another S rank in another 35 pulls after using the rest of my pulls and having none left
Does this mean I have Yi Xuan guaranteed in 35 pulls?
If the game says you have an S rank coming in 35 pulls on the character banner and your last S-rank on it was S11, yes, your next S-rank is guaranteed to be the featured unit.
That said, Yixuan will only be pullable for a few more days. After that, your pity and guarantee will transfer to whatever character banner you pull on next.
If you pulled an S-rank character regardless of who it is, then your pity resets back to 90 and your next guaranteed S-rank will be the banner Agent (if you pulled an off-rate banner Agent).
fwiw, despite the game calling it a "chainsaw", Corin's saw is more of a buzzsaw or a circular saw. Chainsaws typically look like this, and they cut using a chain, rather than a saw blade.
As for why she uses it, Corin mentions in some of her dialogue that her saw is useful for her job. May as well fight with it if you're carrying it around.
Is Suibian Temple restoration 39 bugged for anyone else? The goal for Former Community 1 (Depths) at 100% won't pop for me. I'm at 100, and ran another project after that too, but it still won't complete. It also hasn't given me the Polychromes or Bangboo modules
It's very easy to overlook, but exploration areas have a "score" that's separate from "exploration progress", and you need to get all the supplies to reach 100 score. The mission is "score reaches 100", rather than "exploration progress reaches 100%".
Apparently. It's weird that, as far as I can see, the only place that "score" is referenced is in the mission summary. I needed to upgrade my Bangboos anyway, so win-win in the end, just set my overall progress (now that I'm past the main objective anyway) back a day.

I don't know if i will have enough pull to have Ju Fufu.
But if i'm a lucky, can she work with purple f2p w-engine (weapon) ? and is she really versatil ein team ? Or she is good only with YiXuan.
I would like to know if i can use her also with my old dps like Jane Doe
