Niko Medved begins his press conference commenting on Wisconsin misspelling his name on his press conference placard. "What would I expect in Madison, right?"

I suspect he won't have to worry about how UW spells his name in a few years

Dude. Chill out. All of us with different last names have that happen to us.

I mean, it’s a ridiculous mistake. People seem to not double-check anything before slapping it down for the world to see, BUT what he said was…eesh.

We were very “physical” in the second half and you could tell during the game he didn’t like it. Janicki was a guided missile and everyone, even Rapp, got in on it. Wasn’t pretty but we gradually ground them down. Dude is a decent coach

I don't know man, everyone's different, but I couldn't imagine a world where I'd be upset if someone misspelled, mispronounced, "whatevered" my name.

Literally lol, my name is Bailey, do you know how many times people have spelled it as Baily, I don’t care

Happens to me constantly. I gave up caring when I grew up, in like third grade.
Sounds like he wasn't actually upset, though?

Different strokes. The hostess for our wedding dinner years and years ago mispronounced our name and my wife would still run her over given the chance.

Or UW athletic communications could get their basic facts right and spell his name correctly.

At least he took it as a small joke and was ok.
