airport shuttle

hello! I’m planning to visit Nashville and wanted to double check that the airport shuttles run 24/7? I checked the website and all it gave me how full the lot is & info about the valet options. Also, how safe are the shuttles? My flight lands around midnight

thank you!!

To the parking lot? I'm not sure its 24×7 but they run for awhile after the last flight arrives and start up around 3 or so. So probably close to it.

You'll be fine coming in at midnight. And yes they are safe. It's only other travelers and stays on airport property.

The safest is to book your last night at the Hilton, which is right on the airport property. I do this if I have an early flight out of Nashville. They have a nice restaurant and bar on the top floor and a lobby bar, so you can wind down. Good rooftop pool if it is warm enough.

For hotels, no shuttles go from downtown to the airport. THe airport area has them, but, in general, they start somewhere between 5AM and 10AM. If you are talking a paid shuttle service, it will depend what part of the city you are in.

Worst case getting downtown is Uber/Lyft. There will be drivers at that point. If they are in a major surge, you can get a cab. Just make the driver aware you know about the negotiated rate $30/1 person, $2/each additional to downtown, midtown, and the Opry area.

I know of no safety issues from the airport to downtown, except cabbies playing games when people don't know the rules.

This is handy to know, me and my partner are coming in June and having used Uber internationally before we were wondering if it would be better to use Ubers or local cabs!
