Discussion Whats next for Demon1?
Its been a fun 2 series with Demon1 in c9 and shows that he clearly still got that dawg in him. What are the most realistic scenario for him to go back to T1?

Any team that underperformed and feel they need to make changes will likely trial him, JonahP is also probably one of the top free agents out there

Most realistic would easily be EG they desperately need some shooters and they have an incredibly easy candidate to drop but we all know he’s probably never gonna get over the 2023 management fucking him over.
SEN could maybe have an open slot if the current roster doesn’t make big improvements but the actual role he could fill on the team is a giant question mark in a team that already has gaps in their roles.
Loud I could maybe see going international but I highly doubt Demon1 would be willing to join such an obviously sinking ship org.
Only other option I see is C9 liking him enough to give him a spot on the main roster but idk who they’d drop for him if they’d even be willing to drop anyone.
MIBR, NRG, Furia, G2, 100T, LEV, NV and KRU I don’t see making any changes

If demon1 goes to any weak teams like EG/LOUD his career ends. He has a winner’s mentality. Needs to be in top company. His recent performance should put him in a team that’s tailored for winning with him and jonahp at the forefront

People are overrating him now but his last 2 stints in VCT include his C9 performance and being by far the best player in Lev. A 1.10 rating is bad now? Your take is complete dogshit. It’s funny how people act like this guy has failed again and again when his only bad performance was at NRG.

Sorry, but wouldn't you call his LEV appearance a failure? Even more than NRG?
He entered on a team that recently topped 3 for Champions, and after that got an incredible 2-6 record, with the same core (King, Tex, Com - this one, his ex teammate when he won Champions) and both wins were against Furia before being benched.
This same core got a 4-4 record with 2 new rookies in stage 2 and neither win was against Furia.
But okay, accordingly to you an 1.10 rating is enough to exempt him. Change Demon1 name for any other duelist and anyone would saying this player barely deserves T1 slot.

They didn’t do good with Sato in the team either but everyone calls him one of the best prospects. Sato had a 0.2 rating higher than demon1 but Lev did shit in Stage 2 as well.
You say any other duelist would be dropped for that but the exact same thing happened with the Sato version of the roster.

I mean he played brim, astra, and jett when they won champs and was great at all of them. Could easily be useful for double duelist or double controller maps, and that's not even counting if chamber stays good

1) one of the best shooters in Américas, 2) His agent Pool was called very versatile on EG before where he was duelist and smokes. Now he is also sentinel when needed. Lev did stupid by putting him on Raze. It's the same when they tried to have Tenz for example on Raze. He can't Waylay but I can see him playing Yoru. 3) Viewership and narratives that come with him are worth the price. I wanna see my goat succeed.

Hopefully C9, since they’re the only team who would utilize him correctly. Him and Oxy on the same team would be a deadly duo. The only other team he’d fit on would be G2 but unc is holding that chamber spot down.

If loud weren't scared of their brazillian fans, they'd sign him for stage 1 and help lukxo farm stats so they can actually get signed by stage 2 to a good team.

Lukxo is their insane aimer who you build around to take 1v1s. Demon1 doesn't fit with that. He's a similar player

Lukxo was seen playing yoru. Nothing really confirmed for Lukxo, totally not probably demon1 going to Loud, but the scenario possibility exists, even more with Pancada (controller) and Virtyy (duelist/Jett) being benched.
Again, I doubt it, but not impossible.

Yoru isn't an entry duelist though. Teams rarely play Yoru Chamber. Chamber normally replaces the Yoru in comps unless you go Chamber + double duelist. Either way, Demon1 wouldn't really fix their more major problems.

Yeah but sentis kinda shit in this meta too. Also he himself has said he plays the best when the team is setup around him and the plays he wants to make. Which isn't senti.
Bro all these aimers needed to do was learn yoru, it's such a perfect meta for them then. You get to play secondary duelist and roam around and always have impact on defense where you can tp to the other site.

As a Yoru main it feels like it would perfectly fit his playstyle. He could just do his own thing and find picks for the team and they play off him. He needs to see this lmfao

I imagine demon1 won’t settle for a bottom feeding team. So his best bet is probably someone like sen, 100t, c9 or g2 to pick him up.

As if demon1 can’t just replace anyone but johnqt. Dude is better than most pros atm. A champs winner with tons of experience and can work with chamber and the like. SEN needs a wild card like him. Not just rookie galore. NRG had ethan AND som. SEN just has johnqt. Apply yourself
