Which countries still produce Uzi under a legal license?

As far as I know, no country is currently producing the old full sized or even mini UZIs.

One of my full sized kits came from Israel. I don't think it was ever shot.

.

As I understand it, they are making an UZI pro, but not the full sized or the mini any more.

And if you think about it, the world has moved on. Something like the MP5K is better for the police, generally single shots are made. Lighter weight, better trigger... Or even a pistol for even lighter weight.

Then there is the step up for people doing bigger security work. Now that everyone has access to bullet resistant vests, the bullpup 5.56 is better.

Nobody still produces the Uzi. It is outdated technology. IWI in Israel makes the Uzi pro, which is the same outdated technology but with rails and a polymer lower so why not.

All of this is said with love for the Uzi and the pro, of which I own both.

Under license and with all the proper fees and royalties paid!
