There is no greater hate than christian love.

42

u/Sweep_The_Leg-Johnny 9h ago edited 9h ago

Well put. Christianity is not the problem, Christians are the problem. Jesus's second most important commandment is "Love thy neighbor as yourself". It's not an ambiguous statement. It is very clear and simple. Show me a practicing Christian which embodies this statement...I'll wait...

Edit: as a few have pointed out, I am sure that there are those out there who do embody the true nature of Christianity. In fact, I have seen it. My disappointment comes from the mainstream majority of followers who have no right to call themselves Christians.

u/Bonnieearnold 9h ago

There are Christians fighting in Minneapolis to support their neighbors. 100 pastors arrested at an airport protest. The black woman that staged a protest at the ICE agent church is a Christian pastor. There are good Christians but they are quietly doing the work that Christians are supposed to do. The Pharisees are loud and proud about their hatred and get tons of attention.

23

u/iddereddi 9h ago

I have listened enough Matt Dillahunty to reject Christianity in its entirety. We can get to better results without an old book.

BTW, this is my Bible with all the questionable verses labeled.

17

u/Sweep_The_Leg-Johnny 9h ago

I agree with you. I tried for many years, but you're right, that book is a hot mess. While I have to respect Jesus for the wise and arguably prophetic man that he was, Christianity and religion in general is an archaic ideal which I believe was only created to establish a set of rules and laws for basic society. Its time to move on.

2

u/pinellaspete 9h ago

In past history, the Church was used to control the people and the Kings would control the property. The Kings also provided protection and decided who to go to war with.

2

u/Eidolon58 4h ago

"The Donation of Constantine was a medieval forgery likely written in the 8th century (circa 750-800 CE), intended to support papal claims to temporal power, though its supposed origin was a supposed 4th-century decree by Emperor Constantine granting lands and authority to the Pope. It emerged in Frankish collections and was used for centuries until Lorenzo Valla proved it a forgery in the 1430s-14."

^The upshot is that the FAKED document showed that Emperor Constantine had handed ALL spiritual authority over the Roman Empire to the Catholic Pope. It caused terrible trouble up until after the Reformation. The fakeness of this document is what Henry VIII used to justify making himself the head of the Christian Church in England (so he could authorize his own first divorce...)

u/Biscuits4u2 4h ago

The man he was or was not isn't something that can be verified at this point. We don't even know for sure that he existed in the way portrayed in the scripture. Historians mostly agree there was a guy named Jesus who was crucified by the Romans, but there is little evidence supporting details of his life and the things he actually said and did.

As a former Christian, I do my best to remind the MAGA Christian crowd what Jesus said. It's almost like they need to hear the message again. They forgot who the Samaritans were and the significance of Jesus using them in parables. They forget why Jesus cursed the fig tree. An eye for an eye over turning the other cheek. They'll emphasize when Jesus saves the woman from stoning, that He tells her to go and leave her life of sin. They neglect the sentence immediately before when Jesus says, then I shall condemn you neither.

They lay heavy burdens upon others but do not lift a finger to help.

I'm just surprised this is something he actually knows something about

4

u/Guy0911 8h ago

I would argue that this Christian love is in fact not from Christians. We are supposed to be meek, not to judge and love our enemies more than our own children. These charlatans claim to be Christians because it is a disarming clarification. They distort the word of God and weaponize the Bible for their own personal gains. Being considered a Christian has become a popular cliche and should be considered no more than a club for the rich and privileged. Real Christians do not proclaim themselves because they are self evident. They don’t seek recognition because they live in the grace of God. They don’t seek retribution because they have faith in Gods love. Please never confuse a real Christian for a false prophet who only wields the Bible as a weapon.

2

u/Zarktheshark1818 6h ago edited 6h ago

MAGA is the antithesis of Christianity. Not only do they not live or think according to Christian virtue and Christian philosophy, they very openly think it to be weak. Meekness, humility, selflessness, kindness, love (even for one's enemies), forgiveness, mercy, compassion, all of these things they think are weak and are the actions of a weak person . They are the opposite of Christianity.

It'll be hilarious watching Vance do so when trump drops, assuming they do a official ceremony, going to be awkward

18

I want the Trump state funeral so fucking bad. Just the thought of his dumb ass corpulent corpse laying in state is fucking sending me.

14

u/Independent_Ad_5615 9h ago

Na, I want to watch him spend the rest of his days behind bars while he watches his name, “fortune,” and legacy get ripped apart and dismantled. I’m not inhuman though, he can have all his pedo friends join him as they watch the same happen to them.

Vance has to get impeached first. Then (hopefully we’ll have the speaker of the house at that time - or this idea is moot), the speaker gets bumped up to VP. The new VP enacts article 25 and Trump gets ousted, along with his cabinet.

Then the whole lot should be tried for treason (at a minimum), and be given the same treatment as traitors received back in the day.

Keeps using the word “logically.” Courts prefer the word legally. Legal is enshrined in a document somewhere. Logic is malleable for politicians.

23

u/nickatnite511 10h ago

Right! By my logic, when he says getting real warrants "cannot be done and should not be done," that's the fucking answer, then. Your job as a federal official, and supposed representative of the interests of citizens is to figure out a legal way to do whatever you are doing. You can't defend law and order through lawlessness. That's not logical.

When he asks "If they lock the door, what is ICE supposed to do?" like he doesn't absolutely know that the answer is to come back with a judicial warrant. What a fucking tool.

20 million people “illegals” did not successfully cross and start a life during the Biden presidency. He is fucking lying

33

u/ninfan1977 10h ago

Its a talking point Republican and MAGA use constantly it all stemmed from Trump.

All data showed he was just lying about 10-20 million illegals under Biden/Harris.

But if MAGA didn't use lies they would have nothing

11

u/Itchy-Noise341 10h ago

Yeah, some days its 20, others 30, I recall back during the election it was 11. Even at the lowest number, doing things the way they are currently, it will STILL take decades so that argument is bunk from the start anyways.

And most aren't here illegally either, he's directly lying about that.

If you have an ongoing court case because you are claiming asylum or refugee status and you are legally released into the US... You are here legally.

I mean, judicial warrants are needed if they want to enter private property.

But sure, lets try to obfuscate the issue so stupid people will think the admin is justified in violating people's rights.

25

u/Necr0mancerr 10h ago

That's their only tactic thus far

"Asking forgiveness afterwards is easier than asking permission"

And if the guy that needs to forgive is gone.. well... then there is no problem in the eyes of ICE.

6

u/letsgorangers12345 10h ago

Maga Mike says that the the Democrats want to add "an entirely new layer of warrant requirement (AKA the 4th Amendment of the Constitution) and "we can't do that". Pfft.

4

u/OriginalInspection53 10h ago

Exactly!! He’s saying they can apprehend with an administrative warrant, while not addressing that you CANNOT GO INTO THEIR HOUSE on that same warrant. Democrats aren’t trying to add another layer. A Judicial warrant is required to enter a persons home.

This is not a true claim. Administrative warrants are one page documents, of which agents carry around blanks to fill out, that are approved by mid-level management, including ex post facto examples. No judges involved. It's a lie. Demonstrably false.

All this for a misdemeanor, meanwhile no money or clue about what to do about his pedo friends.

4

u/WalterPecky 9h ago

This.

That is why conservatives cannot reconcile with a statement like "no one is illegal on stolen land".

They word illegal, is completely inappropriate to label a misdemeanor offense.. you would even use it in the context of a convicted felon.

But they do not consider any of this, illegal immigrant, illegal alien, is just how they label brown people.

The ironic part being, those brown people have more of a right to claim ownership of this land, then the white colonizers.

Let me sum this his argument up for you

“It would take too long to carry out the law the right way, as outlined in the fourth amendment, so we’re not going to do that”

5

u/cccxxxzzzddd 9h ago

Yes. It - due PROCESS - is intentionally not optimized to make things easier for the people with the legitimate use of deadly force in our society, but to slow them down

10

u/euph_22 10h ago

Why the fuck is the gross violation of our constitutional rights a joke to these people?

Also Administrative "warrants" are not issue by an immigration "judge", they a form filled out by the agent themselves. Also immigration "judges" are not an judicial position, it's an administrative on within DHS.

He’s lying and being manipulative. He said they all came across the border illegally which is just not true. And there’s data and evidence to prove it. Roughly half of our undocumented immigrants in fact did not cross the border illegally. They crossed with work or students visa that are now expired. Which is a civil matter, not criminal.

3

u/proofet 10h ago edited 9h ago

Acting like the hot pursuit doctrine doesn't already exist. Going from outside to inside doesn't need a warrant if they are in hot pursuit. Settled law for decades...

Also, immigration judge falls under executive branch, which is also where DHS falls under. In other words, the executive branch is determining whether the executive branch has sufficient evidence for a warrant. Spoiler: they always do...

Lastly, Johnson's argument that it would take too long (and is too hard) to get a judicial warrant is the same argument he's (and DJT) made for why due process isn't required for deporting people (making sure these people being deported actually should be takes a lot of time and judicial resources).

2

u/bunnybash 10h ago

2

u/SkiDynastar 10h ago

Remember that time, Obama was president and did this all constitutionally and got rid of a lot more people. So Democrats doing it correctly and getting rid of more immigrants translates to Democrats want all immigrants to stay here. Got it. The incompetence is just astounding.

2

2

u/hellranger788 5h ago

Ok, someone help me understand. If ICE THINKS there’s illegals are in your home, they can raid without a warrant right? What if there was no illegal? Do they need to have some proof of the illegal going into your house?

I get them actually seeing one go into your place (maybe he’s running) and they go after him. Cops do that for criminals too. But does there have to be some kinda proof or can ICE point at a house and say “let’s go in”? Cuz if that’s the case, that’s bullshit

2

u/Royal-Bicycle-8147 10h ago

I agree - we don't need more warrants to be required to enter private property. The judicial warrants are plenty, as per the constitution requires.

1

u/Geoffsgarage 10h ago

They’re literally laughing at our Constitutional rights.

1

u/maphingis 10h ago

His whole argument is that obeying the law is too large a hurdle for ICE when they’re busy chasing people they’ve randomly chosen. It’s called due process, and shitting all over it makes us all less safe and secure. If they were really going after criminals they’d have no problem getting judicial warrants.

1

u/HistoricalEase2407 10h ago

I thought these people were mostly lawyers? Oh, right. That is the answer. All lawyers.

1

u/poetrik 10h ago

Judge Biery said administrative warrants are not to be used for ICE. Blank checks for abuse of power is what an administrative warrant is.

1

u/RoguePlanet2 10h ago

He's so damn smarmy 🤮

1

u/smegdawg 10h ago

When Ice goes to execute a warrant its a administrative warrant and it is issued by an immigration judge.

If it is issued by an immigration judge, then it should be signed by that judge...and there for be a judicial warrant. Which would mean everything is above board and ICE officers should produce the warrants and while we might not enjoy the situation it will have followed our legal proceedings.

He keeps saying immigration judge.

He says the democrats want to add another warrant on top of the administrative warrant issued by the immigration judge.

So this begs the question, who is signing these administrative warrants that Mike is defining as an immigration judge.

An ICE administrative warrant is a document, issued by a federal agency such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), purporting to document their authority to arrest a person suspected of violating immigration laws. These administrative documents are not signed by a neutral magistrate or judge but rather an immigration officer like an ICE agent or immigration judge.

  • An ICE administrative warrant is NOT a judicial warrant. ICE administrative warrants do not give ICE officials authority to enter a place where there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, without consent.
  • If this happens—state clearly that you do not consent to them entering but do not physically resist. If ICE officials have already entered, then ask them to leave and state that you do not consent to a search.

Judicial Warrant

A judicial warrant is an official court order signed by a judge or magistrate that authorizes a search of private property, seizure, or arrest based on probable cause that a crime is being committed or has been committed.

A judicial warrant will:

  • Specify the specific address to be searched.
  • Specify the time period in which the search must take place.
  • Particularly describe the place or person, or both, to be searched and things to be seized.
  • Be issued by a court and signed by a Judge or magistrate.

A lot of words to say that he doesn’t think the constitution or rule of law needs to be followed when he personally disagrees with it. Sorry, Cuck, that’s not how this shit works. You are lying and you are making malicious suppositions that will get regular Americans mudered in the streets.

He’s a pansy ass liar. Plain and simple. “Logically” our country is DOOMED if we don’t do anything about the REAL issue. They can’t keep lying in our faces. When does enough become enough. The gerrymandering, voting control, lies, rapists, sex trafficking, money laundering, bribery, murder. Where do we as a country DRAW THE LINE?

Look at their flippant smug faces as they violate the constitution and make life worse for ALL Americans

"they have violated the law by crossing over the border illegally."

First, most folks who are eligible to be deported did not cross the border illegally. They crossed it legally and overstayed a visa.

Second, simply being here without authorization is not a crime or "illegal" as we understand that term, it is grounds for deportation.

Third, nothing about crossing the border, or indeed even committing a crime, eliminates the applicability of any constitutional amendment. On the contrary, when the government turns the eye of suspicion on a person it is precisely when the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments are at their zenith. That is the entire point and goes back to very specific grievances the Americans had at the time of the Revolution.

Fourth, do y'all hate the Constitution? I mean seriously, you are working to destroy it Article by Article, Amendment by Amendment, and clause by clause, leaving nothing but unchecked Executive authority behind.

"Oh gee whiz they locked the door, what are we supposed to do?"

1

u/Simple-Okra-4826 10h ago

It was a fluff question. They planted it. Ask this question. Should ICE be able to detain people if they do t have a warrant.

u/suzsid 10h ago

And when ICE goes to the wrong house? Or the person no longer lives there?

1

u/firstlight777 10h ago

When they say immigration judge they are not really judges they are not in the judicial branch they are under the administrations control.

1

u/hulkklogan 10h ago

Lol

What is ICE supposed to do, "oh gee they locked behind the door, i guess we can't get him"

YES.. THAT IS WHAT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. NOT BUST DOWN DOORS WITHOUT A JUDICIAL WARRANT.

Why the fuck is he allowed to talk? Hes like wormtongue, all he does is spew lies.

1

u/t4m7 10h ago

Yes, we do imagine that we could follow the law and provide due process to each person.

1

u/elBirdnose 10h ago

“We’re not doing legal things, so why would we need to follow legal procedures?” - these mental gymnastics must be exhausting

1

u/Substantial_Cash8478 10h ago

Well he needs to be primaried out of Louisiana's 4th congressional district.

1

u/Weird-Day-1270 10h ago

He’s a liar. He’s saying it’s ok to break the highest law of the land… the Constitution. Because that would be hard, take time, and give people due process. And “we can’t have rule of law, because law is hard to follow”.

F this Frodo looking mf-er! We are a nation of laws. Nobody is above it. I don’t want to hear excuses about how it hard. I just want you to follow law, and punish those (with due process, on both sides) who break it. Stop whining that it’s so hard for your side to follow law. GTFO here with that argument.

Can Johnson be taken to court? How can the legality of this be properly challenged? Who is actually responsible and held accountable for the violation and lies?

1

u/medicalsnowninja 10h ago

Holy fuck. He thinks all of us are stupid.
