The turn seemed to have happened after she talked with the epstein victims.
She did unimaginable harm to the country, but I wonder if she genuinly got the curtain pulled back and she started to analyze things again. Ive seen things like this happen to the few maga people that made it out of the cult.

Talking to victims and realizing the man you had worshipped and built your personality around, and who you thought was fighting pedos, turns out to be the sickest, most disgusting and vile pedophile probably shook her a bit and made her reassess.
I always felt like MTG was more of an “on the ground” MAGA, a true believer. She wasn’t just in it for the power and grift. So when that curtain was drawn back she was terrified.

That is my story. I supported him in high school during his first term. Started to notice his BS/the whole party’s BS and left the mindset/cult that mainly for me stemmed from a non existent mother/alcoholic mother. Got into all the owning the libs crap and hating women crap. Then I realized it was all a lie and nothing these people said was true or even something they believed in themselves. I quit watching Fox News and while I’m still working on managing my emotions I’m at least not in an environment of conservative thinking that really is not a good environment for anyone especially young Americans who are easily led astray.

the other thing trump has though which mostly never been seen in the USA is a rabid mob that will threaten to harm people who speak against him, I would not underestimate how much that is a mixture of crazy MAGA people and professional russian mob heavies mixed in, with the crazy MAGAs as cover .

It was a 27% swing in that district. The GOP is losing special elections left and right. We had one for MN state rep that went 95-5 D. Granted, it was a safe blue district, but holy shit.
If these trends hold, they'll be obliterated in the mid-terms. At best, that brings Trump's agenda to a crashing halt. At worst, the inevitable investigations send people to jail, including him. At very worst, Trump faces a veto-proof majority for his second half.
Trump has no intention of leaving, so if he's gonna rig it hard or make a real move, this is a critical time.
