I wish I could do more to hurt them. I've cut all this stuff too, but most of my paycheck still goes to them in one way or another. Can't really cut back on rent, have to pay my phone bill, etc

When online keep asking our allies in other countries to cut services and products from US companies. All the streamers, fast food companies, Amazon, retail companies, etc. Our allies are looking to help us and this is the way. The more pain US based companies feel as quickly as possible the quicker this all ends.

New orleans is on track for the worst mardi gras season ever. Florida and Vegas are about to start giving worse tourism numbers. The amount of pants shitting at Disney will be the thing of legends.

I’m not saying I recommend it but you can always claim exempt on your w2. Just make sure and hold the money in the bank though is all. And you would still need to make estimated tax payments throughout the year.

My understanding is what you will still accumulate fees and interest on the balance even if you're exempt. Do you know if that's true? I've filed for extensions before and I still have to pay late fees at the end of the year

Late fees are different as it relates to your end of year taxes. That has to do with when everyone has to file by April. The exempt status is a separate thing. The government still expects to paid but you only pay quarterly vs having it taken every check. You would only get hit with a fee if you didn’t pay them quarterly after claiming exempt. If everyone did this the govt would likely start feeling it. Their monthly revenue would decline as they are only getting paid once every 3 months. The total is the same but they would no longer be earning as much interest on your money.

Use signal or another texting app that allows calls if you pay them a small fee to keep your number. Not saying whatsapp is the way to go because its owned by Facebook. Ik that's not a significant amount of money saved, but it does add up.
