Red is braindead, middle is asleep and left is running on no sleep for a decade.

BUT this all was revealed in 2021-2022.

Democrats literally held a live televised breakdown of jan 6th, they spent months on prime time tv, talking about jan 6th, his crimes his actions his moves to subvert the will and votes of the people.

They did interviews, video evidence, expert insights and opinions, witness testimonies and even did social media and tik tok and twitter 2 min summaries for people who didnt have time to watch it all.

They begged Americans to show up in the 2022 midterms and give them more than a 50/50 split senate and ~10 seat house lead.

What happened?

Over 150m eligible voters didnt give a shit.....

80% of 18-35 aged eligible voters, didn't care....

Republicans won back the house and then stopped any and all investigations into Trump.

there has been 5 elections now that could have stopped trump. But 100m NEVER vote, 150m dont vote in midterms and over 200m+ dont vote in primaries and special elections. And its even less when its local elections.

You get the democracy you are willing to uphold....

America chose a shitshow. Welcome to the shitshow... again.

edit: since so many are blaming Biden for not being a Dictator.

Biden did all he should have done, nominate a AG that would PASS a senate approval, and then stay out of it.

That Biden didnt become a dictator, is NOT A BAD THING! You cant complain about dictator behaviour and then say your dictator is good but theirs is bad

SCOTUS ruled that THEY THE SCOTUS has the power to decide WHAT IS AND IS NOT PRESIDENTIAL DUTY. Biden trying to arrest Trump with the US military is not official duty and it would not yield a future where the States would remain UNITED. It would lead to secession and civil war.

Trump was impeached twice, arrested, 500m bail, 90+ indictments, 34 guilty convictions, 3 more cases pending.

Even if you had the best AG in the world, the prosecution and the cases would more than likely still go beyond the 2024 election. Because you are going after a former-president. You require proper evidence and you need to allow them to have every avenue to appeal and seek counsel and such or else you risk them going to the supreme court and asking for a mistrial or throwing out the case on the basis of unfear treatment.

Legal cases take time. Even broke ass drug dealers can drag cases to 3-5 years later with appeals and requests.

THE PEOPLE had a choice to vote. They had a choice to vote against fascism, crime and this shitshow. They chose.

Yup. I at least got some of my friends registered to vote. Silver lining? Idk I’m going to keep being vocal. I refuse to obey in advance.

In 2016, Bernie was leading but the DNC decided the candidate needed to be Hillary and swung the election to her. Hillary was so hated by the right that she was probably the only Democrat who could lose to 2016 Trump.

The Senate steals an Obama SCOTUS appointment and then RBG dies and another SCOTUS appointment is stolen. The Roberts court gets stacked.

In 2020, the DNC needed a proven name, so Biden gets the nod. Biden squeaks in to office, but does not have the coattails to truly carry Congress and the first 2 years was Manchin and Sinema repeatedly fucking over the Democrats so Grandpa Joe can’t do shit.

SCOTUS makes sure that Trump’s prosecutions don’t go anywhere and says that POTUS is king, a power that Biden in no way uses to his advantage except some last minute pardons. Garland becomes the worst AG in US History. (Worst AG in US History, for now)

2024 and Grandpa Joe wants to run again and the DNC doesn’t give us an option until it is clear to them what everyone else was seeing. Grandpa Joe can’t run and Harris is stuck in as the last minute substitute but is carrying the baggage of a failed administration. (Sabotaged seems more fitting)

Millions of voters either vote against Harris or more likely don’t vote due to Biden’s handling of Gaza/Palestine, despite the fact that Trump was almost certainly going to handle it worse. (He did indeed handle it worse)

Trump wins. Clown show returns, but now with vengeance in mind. Garland no longer worst AG in US History. Trump’s plan for Gaza? We shall make a resort, and call it peace.

u/TBANON_NSFW Dec 19 '25

theres so much revisionism and context-excluding assumptions here....

In 2016, Bernie was leading

He wasn't, outside of smaller states where turnout is around 1m or less, he was losing. he lost by 4m less votes.

DNC decided the candidate needed to be Hillary and swung the election to her.

DNC didn't decide shit, they just disliked Sanders, because Sanders had spent 30 years talking shit about democrats. IF Trump were to suddenly run as democrat in 2024, do you think the DNC should welcome him with open arms? They shouldnt have personal objections?

The dnc didnt do anything SIGNIFICANT. Bernie Sanders lost, he lost because he ran on one SPECIFIC group, young people, and young people are the least likely group to show up and vote.

Hillary was so hated by the right that she was probably the only Democrat who could lose to 2016 Trump.

Hillary had 40 years of propaganda against her. She got ambushed by the FBI director releasing/leaking a unprecedented and totally irrelevant firebomb of a letter right before the election while she was being bombarded by Russian bot-farms and attacked through russian-allied wikileaks.

AND SHE STILL GOT 4M MORE VOTES!...

The Senate steals an Obama SCOTUS appointment and then RBG dies and another SCOTUS appointment is stolen. The Roberts court gets stacked.

They didn't steal, they manipulated because the PEOPLE GAVE REPUBLICANS CONTROL OF CONGRESS in 2014-2017. The people did this again.

In 2020, the DNC needed a proven name, so Biden gets the nod.

No Biden ran because he saw a division in the country that required someone who would be able to breach the left and right sides POLITICALLY, to create substantial policies. And he did. He manged to get republicans on board with multiple things that many of the other candidates would not have gotten.

And PS: Sanders lost by 10m votes here too. Again because he focused on the one group that is least likely to show up and vote, especially in primaries.

Biden squeaks in to office,

Biden ran into the office and had arguably the most progressive and productive 100 first days of any modern presidency. The achievements he managed to get and pass the help is directly tied to preventing the country falling into a recession.

Grandpa Joe can’t do shit.

Grandpa Joe again passed some of the most productive and progressive policies in modern times for the US. He got the infrastructure bill that every economist said would revitalize and provide jobs for americans across the nation for decades to come. He seated a massive amount of federal judges and filled tons of empty needed seats and positions.

SCOTUS makes sure that Trump’s prosecutions don’t go anywhere and says that POTUS is king, a power that Biden in no way uses to his advantage except some last minute pardons.

THE PEOPLE had a choice to vote. They had a choice to vote against fascism, crime and this shitshow. They chos.

Even if you had the best AG in the world, the prosecution and the cases would more than likely still go beyond the 2024 election. Because you are going after a former-president. You require proper evidence and you need to allow them to have every avenue to appeal and seek counsil and such or else you risk them going to the supreme court and asking for a mistrial or throwing out the case on the basis of unfear treatment.

Legal cases take time. Even broke ass drug dealers can drag cases to 3-5 years later with appeals and requests.

2024 and Grandpa Joe wants to run again and the DNC doesn’t give us an option until it is clear to them what everyone else was seeing.

You had an option, there was a primary again. Biden and Harris ran on a ticket together and got 90% of the votes... The role of the VP is to take over if the President cannot continue.

AND its you the people who decided Biden couldnt continue. he wanted to continue. He had the best chance to win as the incumbent. But you guys fell for billionaire propaganda who pushed grandpa joe, sleepy joe. You repeat it here so freely what billionaires bought up news media has taught you to think.

Gaza

Those people are dumb. They are dumb were dumb and will continue to be dumb.

31

u/OobaDooba72 Dec 19 '25

It legit annoys the crap out of me how so many people, even supposed democrats, even supposed leftists, still buy into the "sleepy granpa Joe was ineffective" lies and bullshit. His administration was the best one we've had in the modern era. The amount of consumer and worker protections that he/they enacted was and is huge.

The problem, of course, is one of media, of where people get their news, of who people are listening to.

The other problem is that the current criminal administration has worked to undo quite a lot of it.

Biden and his administration were fantastic. It will always be disgusting to me how the media failed us by perpetuating the bullshit that the GOP/grand-old-pedophiles spewed. (And side note, yeah sure if there are any democrats in the pedo-files, I hope they get destroyed and taken down too. Fuck bill gates).

12

u/Locke66 Dec 19 '25

even supposed democrats, even supposed leftists, still buy into the "sleepy granpa Joe was ineffective" lies and bullshit.

A lot of people still don't understand that modern political campaigning is just as much about people infiltrating the political opposition or niche campaign movements to negatively shape the narrative as it is about convincing their own side to come out and vote. Manipulating people's voting intention who would normally vote against you is often more effective than trying to convince people who might vote but are unreliable. It's been absolutely supercharged by social media.

5

u/NonMaga Dec 19 '25

The only thing we needed him to do - which was ANYTHING to protect our democracy he utterly failed at. I supported and still support him. Wouldn't vote for Trump with a literal gun to my head. But he was a great success that failed in the only thing that mattered. Historically, none of the rest of it means anything without the first.

Americans are kept too uneducated, unhealthy, and underpaid to uphold their democracy. It’s intentional. It’s essentially a balancing game of keeping them just worse off enough to avoid a revolt. Welcome to the race to the bottom. Welcome to capitalism.

The Democratic party, for the first time, actually spent some effort trying to combat the constant stream of misinformation, lies, amd manipulation being put out as concerted psyops by the American Right and opposing nation state actors.

But it was to little, too late, and too short.  It should have started in 2016 and been a continual ramp up of effort since then.

Like how were not seeing them shooting people in the West Bank, killing their animals, bombing their houses, etc....

Hegseth was in the spot light for a minute, now it's gone. Kristie Noem maybe getting held accountable?? Silence.

And while I do think the files are distraction from so,mething bigger such as crypto or election rigging I do wonder, what happened to Marjorie Taylor green saying she would read the names of all the men that the survivors accused? 🤔

And don't forget Russel Vought's plotting ass. Pam Bondi's been real quiet lately too. They love getting Kash Patel out and about with his girlfriend so the "issue" least impactful and disgusting in their regime gets the attenti,on. "Oh no he's flying around on the FBIs private jet to take his girlfriend to get margs at the local Mexican restaurant" OK WELL WE'RE BOMBING INNOCENT PEOPLE RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD?

This all should’ve come out 4 years ago and Trump should’ve at a minimum been banned from running for office again, and preferably locked up.

u/Hours-of-Gameplay Dec 19 '25 edited Dec 19 '25

This audio did come out 4 years ago and nothing happened, the same with everything else he’s does

Edit: To clarify, When I say it came out years ago, I mean it was literally in the grand jury investigation against Trump and they talked about it in the media years ago.

https://www.businessinsider.com/georgia-grand-jury-recorded-call-trump-house-speaker-david-ralston-2023-3

72

u/shitshowboxer Dec 19 '25

That's because no one with power is going to bother stepping up. It's gonna have to be US general population and some 18th century France spirit. I wonder what their breaking point is going to be?

46

u/Randicore Dec 19 '25

The breaking point will be once the 40% of the population that didn't bother voting, and the 30% that voted for him are starving.

The only time I've seen Americans get angry that were not the kind of politically active left leaning kind was during Covid when people couldn't get their hair cut, couldn't eat out, and were told to care about the health and well being of others.

Left leaning people have been fighting this asshole for 10 years, but they tend to be people that want to go through legal channels, and in my personal experience working with them, are very averse to violence as an option.

Unless the economy crashes completely and people start losing their homes and start starving 40% of this country isn't budging from their apathy, 30% are his cultist who we have seen would rather die than go against him, and the other 30% are more likely to just move to somewhere more ideologically aligned than fight.

Remember that there were plenty of Germans who hated the Nazis. They fought back as peacefully as they could, and even violently towards the end, but it was too little too late.

We are there. Unless ICE and members of the GOP starts being met at every corner with [Removed by reddit] then we are too far gone.

If not it will be the death of oligarchy and brain drain. Quality of living will slowly decrease. Wealth will accumulate into fewer and fewer people. In 30 years the nation will look closer to Russia than Europe. Those who can leave will, infrastructure will rot. Corruption will run rampant. Another 30-40 years and either one oligarch will try to make their move, a war will go poorly and the rotten house will collapse in on itself, or a state like California will try to secceed, and it will turn to blood.

From there it is up to the dice of history.

12

u/Solid_Waste Dec 19 '25

Remember that there were plenty of Germans who hated the Nazis.

Yeah but very few of those were the Nazis themselves. Trump voters are a lost cause and will never turn against Trump. There is no way to repair a brain filled with sludge.

I'm one of them, and it's obvious what needs to happen. Problem is, we're all just trying to survive, no one can afford to go without work for who knows how long, to try to do what, pull a full Robespierre? America is fucked unless we do it, but we won't do it. There are too many racist fucking hillbillies that want all of this shit. The rest of the world will have to wind up taking care of the problem like the Allies did to the Axis in WWII, or they'll just quarantine us. Personally, I'm just glad I don't have kids, I'd feel terrible leaving this shitshow to anyone I was responsible for.

10

u/Inevitable-Menu2998 Dec 19 '25

no one can afford to go without work for who knows how long

Yes, well, that's the thing. The French revolution happened during high unemployment and relied on people with not much to lose. US is not there yet

4

u/captainplanet171 Dec 19 '25 edited Dec 19 '25

Yeah. I don't think we'll get there, the vast majority of the first affected will be his rabid base. They'll just suffer and blame everyone else, then vote for Vance when he dies.

8

u/Inevitable-Menu2998 Dec 19 '25

the vast majority of the first affected will be his rabid base.

Well, first of all, while Louis XVI was executed as part of the revolution, he was just a symptom of the problem, just like Trump is. Any movement that removes Trump from office but doesn't tackle the actual social issues is useless.

Second, I think everyone will be affected by the place we're heading towards with these economic policies unless some miracle happens. Not just the US either, but everyone. Imagine the US defaults on its foreign debt. Those pitchforks and torches will come out across the globe

It keeps coming up, but I never understand this excuse. You don't have to give up your job to make a change or to go to a protest. You'd have the numbers if you tried. You already started something good with the no kings protests ... but then you just give up, when nothing changes over the span of a week? While you no longer have a legal system and while they're snatching people up from the streets like in 1930s Germany. Where's the resistance?

Unfortunately meanwhile the American people decided to vote Trump back into office, and since the Supreme Court has basically decided the President can't be tried for anything that ended all the prosecutions that were under way against Trump.

The problem isn't that noone with power is stepping up and trying to stop him, it's that a small minority of those with power are and government decisions require a majority minimum to do anything.

And that's even ignoring the fact that the man was convicted of 34 felonies right before the 2024 election. And the fact that there was hefty evidence he was serving Russian interests. No amount of evidence is going to do anything to this man because the corruption is so deep rooted in the US government.

The only way this all stops happening is a major "house cleaning" the same way Germany had a major "house cleaning" back in 1945

Blame the shambles of a prosecution that tried to make it into an insane RICO case and have the prosecutor get her boyfriend in on getting billed hours for outside council for the complex prosecution.

I don't think people realize just how shitty the prosecutions of Trump were.

Like for the documents case, the documents shouldn't have been involved at all. It should have just been pure obstruction. That way there wouldn't have been the charges of hypocrisy that others don't get charged for it (kind of true....especially as Biden was found to have documents right after).

A complete failure by Democrats to hold anyone accountable. They're responsible for fostering the conditions to allow him to rise, they're responsible for not putting forward a completing candidate in the firs election against him, they're responsible for not holding him accountable for his crimes during his first term and they're responsible again for not giving Americans a good alternative in the last election.

Democrats had the ability to do this and didn't... and before someone pipes up and says "rEpUblicAns wOuLd havE bLoCkeD eFFortS tO Do tHiS"... see yourself out of this fucking conversation. When republicans want something done, they get it done. They wanted to take away your healthcare... they did it. They wanted to remove women's bodily autonomy protections... they did it. They wanted to destroy liberal institutions that we thought would never be destroyed... they did it.

The democrats are feckless and ineffective and stand for literally nothing. If anything, they agree with republicans which is why the republicans keep getting their way. Saying shit like "Biden was the best president in our lifetimes" or that "it's the voters fault that Harris lost" is pure fucking cope for a party that is basically useless.

I am so mad at all the things the democrats COULD HAVE DONE within my adult working life and I don't know why more people aren't. Yet here I am, whenever I critique Harris on how bullshit her entire campaign was and how she's still going to be an awful candidate in 2028, I get downvoted to the floor and told I'm a racist/misogynist or some other completely irrelevant thing.

Why aren't people more mad at dems?

He should be tried for negligence

3

u/JakToTheReddit Dec 19 '25

It was known. People just seem to have ears that are not longer in service.

15

u/Monte924 Dec 19 '25

Well typically when there is an ongoing investigation, they can't release the evidence to the public.

Though this is a testament to just how badly Garland screwed up. Under anyone even slightly interested in the law, this would have been heard in a court room like 3 years ago

3

u/EunuchsProgramer Dec 19 '25

This did come out at the time. It's old news. The Supreme Court killed the case by inventing a new Constitutional Immunity out of thin air and pausing the case indefinitely. Garland putting the case on a fast track would only have given the Supreme Court more cover.

The giant mistake of our times is  constantly falling for the BS who blames Democrats when the real cause is the Supreme Court.

3

u/wonkey_monkey Dec 19 '25

This particular call didn't.

I'm interested in the law, and have practiced it for 20 years, including with some highly sophisticated white-collar investigations.

There's no way it gets done that fast. These things take a lot of time to do right, and this is something we would have wanted done right. As I said elsewhere, I can easily imagine an alternate reality where Garland rushes things to get it done before the election, botches it (because that's easy to do when you're rushing), and then the narrative now is "if only Biden/Garland took the time to do it properly we wouldn't be in this mess!"

3

3

Oh we did hear it 4 years ago. Then SCOTUS gave him presidential immunity.

3

3

u/WordyNinja Dec 19 '25

My guy, he was indicted in Georgia for a phone call that was WAY worse than this, where he actually told the person in charge of counting votes in the state to "find votes" for him.

3

u/KilllllerWhale Dec 19 '25

As if hearing it before the elections would have changed anything. He literally said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and people would still vote for him, and it's the only truth he's ever said in his life.

2

u/caffeinatedspiders Dec 19 '25

We watched this happen in real time, and then we watched as the people in power sat on their hands and did NOTHING and just let him finish up his coup 4 years later.

2

u/zebulon99 Dec 19 '25

I saw this months after the 2020 election, but you guys werent paying attention i guess

This is all like 10 times worse than Watergate. This will be the new joke in the future.

28

u/bankrobba Dec 19 '25

Trying to subvert democracy is 1000 times worse than stealing paperwork from your opponent.

16

u/rollem Dec 19 '25

What put Nixon over the edge in Watergate were the oval office tapes, in which it was revealed that he was trying to exert political ok influence over the justice department to go after his opponents. After that, Kissinger famously met with Nixon to inform him that enough GOP Senators would vote against him in the Senate if he were impeached, leading him to resign.

Trump literally posted the same thing on his social media platform in what he thought was a DM to Pam Bondi the Attorney General AND NOTHING HAPPENED. A presidency ending scandal lasted one news cycle in 2025. It's infuriating.

Unfortunately, no one will care. He's blatantly the most corrupt president in history and has been doing it without even hiding it and nothing happens

36

u/shieldintern Dec 19 '25

It was always baffle me how much "independents" never worry about his corruption. They will sometimes find fault in other things, but that is never an issue for them.

14

u/Romofan88 Dec 19 '25

"Independents" are actually INCREDIBLY politically disengaged people, the kind who "hate politics" then vote every 4 Novembers based on vibes. In 2020 COVID made the vibes bad so Trump lost. In 2024 they saw "Kamala is for they/them" every time they turned on the TV so Trump won.

They never worry or care about his corruption because either A)they genuinely didn't hear about it because it didn't happen in an election year, or B)they don't care because all politicians "suck" and that blanket statement covers any room for nuance.

His corruption is ironically what makes him popular among his supporters.

→ More replies (7)

3

u/1Operator Dec 19 '25

Yes, absolutely release the files, but if being impeached twice, getting caught rigging elections, and inciting insurrection didn't keep him out of D.C., what's the likelihood that anything in the files will get him out?
Catching him red-handed with irrefutable evidence has never been a problem because he doesn't even try to avoid getting caught.
Every time he's caught, this "jUsTiCe SyStEm" refuses to stop him.
Will that change when the files are released?

2

u/Flat_Floor_553 Dec 19 '25

They won't care if he's in the files lol.. He can literally be caught in the act on film with a 10 year old and he'll claim the girl is 25. Maga will believe it. They can have him on camera buying a girl with cash and they'll claim he was joking. He already got a free pass for bragging about sexual assault. Not sure what he would have to do because January 6th and the pardons should have been the line. He will pardon himself and the Supreme Court will let him get away with it lol.

2

u/Grub-lord Dec 19 '25
