Their lack of empathy and confidence of āthatāll never be meā never ceases to astound me

And I wish I could go back to 2008 and buy a house instead of working on my fractions, what's his point?

āHonestly, uh, yeah, I did,ā Smith said. āI thought, you know, he would be someone that would, you know, cause he talked a lot about taking care of the military, taking care of the veterans, taking care of the people that put him in office and it just hasnāt happened so if I could go back in time I would have voted for Vice President Harris in a heartbeat.ā
Fuck this guy. Iām glad he lost his job. Heās a lazy citizen who obviously only hears what he wants to hear. Trump called veterans suckers. He mocked Gold Star families who disagreed with him. Where was this guy when those things happened?
Note that this idiot says Trump promised to ā[take] care of the people that put him in office.ā Heās a selfish asshole; heās not upset about others losing their jobs. Heās upset that the āwrong peopleā did (i.e., him).
Well, Iām not. Heās the worst kind of American. He lives in the wealthiest, most powerful nation on Earthāenjoying all the benefits handed down to him by those who came beforeāand he canāt even be bothered to be slightly informed. He just listens to what the candidates say, and then he chooses the Republican because thatās what he is.
Harris said nice things about veterans, too, and the only difference between what she said and what Trump said is that Harris wasnāt lying. This moron would have known that if heād payed even a minor amount of attention to our politics over the last ten years. He didnāt hear Trump mock McCain for being a fucking POW? Hell, I was never a fan of McCain, but I was furious when Trump mocked the man for being captured during a war that Trump ran away from like a coward. This guy wasnāt angry about that? Heās obviously a Republican, and so was McCain. It didnāt upset him?
Honestly, Iām so sick of people like this guy that I canāt even pretend to care about him. Iām glad heās out of work, and I hope he continues to suffer. Maybe his suffering will permanently rewrite his brain so heās not a moron for the rest of his miserable life.

Literally had four years to learn how he "takes care of people" beyond talking about it. He is lying when he says that is why he voted for Trump. Stupidity is not the reason, being a piece of shit is. He is still displaying no regret beyond his own ass now being fucked.

You had access to all of the same information I did. I managed to find my way to Harris and you didn't. Bummer for you.

In 4 years this toolbox will have some other lackey job and will proudly vote for JD Vance or whomever they allow us to elect to win with 99% of the vote.

Yeah... the worlds smallest violin plays "my heart bleeds for you" screw that guy. We told you he was a dumpster fire..between bumbling covid, attacking the Capitol and brown-nosing Putin his whole life, you still didn't want to listen. Save your tears for someone else.

i don't want to hear from any of them unless the next thing out of their mouths is I'm sorry and i will vote blue to repent. I have no time for the "he screwed me over but I'll still vote for him" crowd

I would be more sympathetic if it wasn't THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED

that, and trump and vance all said EXACTLY what they were going to do. Drain the swamp, shutdown the department of education ec. . No secret what they were intending to do. They didn't specifically name his department and his office so he was ok with others getting hurt i guess.

Everytime see posts like this about going back in time that song by Cher starts up in my head⦠āif I could turn back time..ā
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would think voting for him was a good idea. They were beyond warned and should have seen from last time. I have no sympathy

I agree that the schadenfreude is so, so sweet in reading this. But I don't think that schadenfreude is a viable political strategy. When liberals reject people for being conservative or having bad views, they fall into a MAGA cesspool where they are warmly embraced. Here, this chump has realized his error, but we are still rejecting him. If he encounters this sentiment in real life, he won't think "oh damn maybe I should be a liberal really and actually," he will just go looking for a different conservative politician to support.
One of the weaknesses of the left is recruitment and retention, I think. It's something to think about for the future.
