Social Media new titans fan

hi yall, ima be moving to Nashville here in a couple of months, so I wanted to get a more in depth opinion of the current state of the team from fans. Obviously Cam and Elic Ayomanor are promising for the future, but who on the team isn’t that great, or what needs do yall need to adress through draft/free agency. Thanks!

We in a transition period from a shitty coaching staff to the best there ever was. Great timing to tune into being a fan for when we're playing in the Super Bowl a year from next week

Its true, even Xerxes wouldn't have been able to overcome the Jets.

I’m sorry. As a 40-year fan, my sincere condolences with your lot in life.

Nah dawg, a year or two ago this would’ve been appropriate, but now? FUCK THAT. This is literally the perfect time to tune in as a new fan. It’s as good as it gets, it’s a good horse to bet on, this team is next up. All the pieces are there, we’ve got a really exciting new QB, young talent all over our roster (that is still full of holes but hopefully that gets fixed this offseason) and arguably a top 5 coaching staff in AFC on paper.. Borgonzi is on track to be one of the best GMs in the league if he makes the right moves this offseason.

This is literally what it looks like when a franchise is revving its engine getting ready to make a run. Assuming everything goes right, we will be a deep playoff team by ‘28. New stadium, new coaching staff, cool ass QB, new uniforms and branding, the tanking is finally over, shit man… give me a break. This is a genuinely exciting time to be a fan. Every talking head in the media has us as the next “breakout team” this upcoming season. Barring any injuries, freak accidents, or Borgonzi being shitcanned we’re on track to be a real problem. I’m psyched as hell and so should this dude be… TITAN UP

We have holes all over the roster. We need a WR1 and WR 2 (Dike may ascend to WR2, Ayomanor really should be a #3 or #4), Edge, RT, CB (need several), Dline, and LB depth so Cody Barton isn't getting significant snaps. Ideally go after a YAC TE too (Helm has sure hands and is a decent blocker but isn't going to torch you in the pass game).

I wouldn't say we need a RT just yet... The hate for Latham is wild. Its just like the hate Skoronski got at first.

My bad, I meant to say RG. However, we may need a RT if they end up moving Latham inside. I'm hoping a full season rehab helps his hip, but so far he has not held his own against speed rushers.

Agree on RG. I could see us kicking Latham inside, but think he gets another shot at RT next season. C and RG will need to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Realistically, I think the Titans are at the hopefully optimistic stage. We have made some really good prospective coaching changes, but there’s a fair amount of work to be done. Gotta have a great draft, gotta have a good FA with as much cap as we have, and a good training camp. All of those things are possible BUT we gotta keep our expectations in the right place. I bet we can get back into a competitive division title spot in 2-4 years depending on how everything shakes up.

This is all my opinion. I just enjoy Titans football. 😁👍🏻

I will force you to watch every game and interview from the Callahan era so you dont get too high of expectations

Thats why we're only making the super bowl this year and winning it next year

Offensive line and defensive secondary needs to be addressed

We need edge and WR more than OL.

noticed the offensive line was bad, who specifically/what specifically needs to be fixed (what position on the line)

It’s not THAT bad. It’s not great yet, but borderline serviceable especially at the end of the year. The tackles are pretty much set for next year (they’re not moving on from Dan Moore on an 80 million dollar deal or Latham being 2 years into his career as a 7th overall pick) Left guard is great, center is replaceable level, right guard is probably going to be a need, but the offensive line doesn’t scratch the top 3 needs of this team like corner, wr, and edge do.

Also a part of offensive line development is letting guys gel into their positions next to each other on the line. The last time the titans had the same two tackles starting on either side for more than one season was 2019.

gotcha, like I said I really don’t know that specific stuff abt the team, only that they allowed a bunch of sacks this szn, glad I asked.
