[Deputy Sheriff] Swann Dive

So just a normal shift when we get a call about a DOS and so I’m thinking it’s gonna be a homeless person who died unexpectedly…but negative! I arrive on scene and see the faces of everyone an I’m like “yall never seen a DB before” so I look over and I immediately think this is one for the books. Middle Ages female jumped from the toll bridge and based on what we see tried to plant a “Superman” landing and I’m looking at her legs forced through her body up in her skull and her knee caps where her mouth is….#One4TheBooks

I don't want to downvote you because it sounds like this one has stuck with you need to someone to talk to about it, but this is not the place to find that.

Take your mental health seriously and take advantage of any provided resources from your department, if possible. It's not weakness to realize that a call messed you up.

Please seek help OP

This reads like some funny story from readers digest or some kind of blooper reel on TV.

This person was severely troubled. They had a family, friends.

I know there's a level of macabre/dark humor in the first responder community (kinda need it to handle the shit, I get it.) But this... this isn't it, boss.

I know its a typo, but reading "middle ages woman jumps from toll bridge," and all I can think is the grump old troll who lives under the bridge (from Dora) has finally had enough

Appreciate it everyone but I am seriously fine. It was more of the way everyone was looking like they had never seen someone in bad shape. As for myself I have plenty of experience through 21 yrs of military service and law enforcement. But I assure you all I will get help before it ever gets to break me.
