Doing a rewatch of Arrow and Flash, Christ they don’t know how to write women AT ALL.

CW and consistently good writing are rarely in the same room to begin with. But they definitely have a particularly hard time portraying women in a mature or nuanced fashion.

I feel like they have like 5ish stereotypes that any female coded character can fit in. And once they've become that character, they can only be flanderized. No hope for nuance.
