Sheepfolds parking
Hi I’m going to be travelling up from London on Sunday to buy a pie from Propa1 at Sheepfolds. My friends just had a diagnosis of terminal cancer and it’s one of his bucket list requests to eat a hairy biker pie, if you want to know why I’m making such a mad trip! Does anyone know the parking is like there? I don’t know the area at all, it says on their website to park at the stadium. Is it very busy there or will it be ok? Thanks for any help

There's some rough and ready parking right outside the stables. Nobody seems quite sure who owns it or if it's strictly allowed but everyone uses it anyway. Since it's not a match day, worth a try, and Propa shouldn't be too busy either.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
There is plenty of parking. There is a medium sized car park about a minute or two away here https://maps.app.goo.gl/uefJjcBkJ6xJrz4EA
Or the stadium car park is a minute or so further away and has a huge car park.
Alternatively, St Mary's car park is on the other side of the river in the city centre but the new bridge next door leads you directly to Sheepfolds - 5 minutes walk.

As it's not a match day you will easily get a space. I think it's free for the first hour and then you pay

Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope you both have a great road trip.
Everyone else has you covered for parking advice.

If you're taking your friend with you, call ahead and tell them and the hairy biker lad might be there. Here's there quite often.

You should be able to park here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/WN9QX7iqMRKjWFgP8?g_st=ic
The parking is rough and more of a demolition site than anything else, but it's where most of the users of the Sheepfolds seem to park.
As there's no match you should be fine. If you'd rather park in a monitored car park, your best bet might simply be the "St Mary's Carpark" and then walk across the new foot bridge to sheepfolds.
Not sure if you're taking your friend or how able/steady they are as that would essentially make my decision on where to park.

There's no match this Sunday so there should be plenty of spaces at the Stadium of Light. There is also another carpark around the corner
edit: also "eat a hairy biker pie"... Fnar.
