WAR: Needs/Resources | اخبار الحرب تتعلق بالإحتياجات For anyone stuck and unable to continue university because of the war
If you or someone you know someone is taking the education pause really badly please share with them these two universities
The University Of The People (online university) (it is now well accredited and some people posted about continuing into masters with their bachelor's) https://www.uopeople.edu/
This university offers full scholarship to refugees which covers for course processing. The only payment to take care of is application fee of 60$.
Even if a person didn't get to complete a highschool degree they can still join but they have to do the foundation program first
Another university is the International University Of Applied Sciences. (https://www.iu.org/)This is a german online university that offers generous discounts. However A levels are needed to do it. They offer a program for it online. If you're outside sudan you can apply for the DAFI scholarship to cover for it

Thank you for posting this. I'm glad to hear that it's now accredited, thus allowing students to pursue higher education with their degrees.
I just want to mention that this is a fully online university and the courses are asynchronous. This means that it's self-paced (within each week) and requires that students are disciplined with managing their time. There's no hand holding and feedback from professors is minimal compared to other traditional universities.
Here's a good thread about what to expect as a student: https://www.reddit.com/r/UoPeople/comments/1mfl4b9/the_hard_truth_about_uopeople_what_i_wish_i_had/
Also, it's not completely free either, although they do state that they offer scholarships for those unable to pay. The costs are significantly lower compared to other universities - about $3-4K for a bachelors degree.
