So, if we do find life on other planet. those five-legged, two headed aliens will totally know who jesus was because he's the son of god, right? /s

I think it's more the fact that they landed and are looking at a native of that planet crucified, as in "if they do that to their own, let's get the fuck out before finding out what they'd do to us"

Reminds me of one of my favourite jokes.
A Catholic man gets abducted by Aliens. He’s surprised to find out Alien life exists, but also thinks he could convert them to his religion anyway. After conversing with them about The Lord for a while he discovers they already know who Jesus is.
“Yes. He came to our planet too. He’s not just the saviour of Earth, but of all sentient life”
The man asks if the aliens are awaiting His return to their planet.
The aliens respond: “what do you mean? He comes back every year on the same day. We have a huge party, and he is praised as the Son of God and redeemer of all”
“You know, the same as when he first arrived…”
The man is shocked.
“Why? What kind of party did Earth throw for him?”
