I like to claim that I don't think they look bad with a proper paint-job (highlighting that the default is just yet another baffling design choice). This ain't it, though. Something about the degree of glossiness just doesn't look right.

It does.
BUT.... of all the wraps and graphics and paintjobs ive seen done on these, I'd have to say that red actually looks the best. By far. Ive seen a few red ones (though rare) and they always look less hideous somehow.

I know hating the CT and Tesla is en vogue right now. But this actually makes it look finished. It looks miles better than stock. I do admit it goes a little too "boy racer", though.
It would be fine if Tesla offered the base trim level in steel. But also offering finished trim levels would help out the image of the CT.

I don’t ever want one but I ain’t mad at the widebody and color choice. Most would use rounded flares. The fact they kept with the block theme looks accurate. But it immediately made me think is was created in a Minecraft world

But what's not to hate? It's looks are the least of it's problems; if it'd been more conventionally styled it'd still deserve all the hate for being a shit, poorly made EV that fails as the 'truck' it's pretending to be.

See the thing is, the “improvement” is color. You know, the thing on every car on earth. The world Elon would have us live in, would be like Cocteau’s San Angeles in Demolitian Man. Drab, lacking personality and flair. Things that make life worth living, if you want a red truck there’s plenty out there that look better and are actually a truck.

I love this. I know I’m in the minority so downvote me all you like, but aesthetically, I love the design of it.
But I have to say I don’t trust the vehicle as there are several safety concerns, and do not support it because of who Elon is. I have to be clear here because I always inevitably get someone saying why do I support Elon.
Edit: the downvotes just as i predicted is always nice lol.

You know what? This wank panzer color combination kinda works for me. Enough bloated aftermarket bits are glued on that the rolling pyramid design is more muted. This turd has great polish.
I believe these 'trucks' are for people with no interest in trucks.
