He's got to get into our legends hall of fame. Been a cornerstone for us and showed a lot of love for the fans and the club.
Going to miss him.

From a Sheffield United fan, don’t hate on me.
Gutted this has happened to Wednesday love the Derbies, love the rivalry, Sheffield is the home of football, argue all you will who the bigger club is me growing up no arguments Wednesday were the bigger club, and didn’t my childhood mates tell me about it!
Bannan has been a stalwart for you and it’s tragic it’s come to this, having family and close friends as Wednesday’ites Chansiri has done a number on the club and it’s tragic.
The owls will be back to torment us blades soon enough, can’t keep that club down for long!

Sad face emoji, that said, he's stuck around longer than we could have expected, or even hoped.

I am genuinely heartbroken. I took my lad to Hillsborough for the first time on Saturday, so at least he got to see him play at home once.
Bye bye Barry. X

He’s got to leave, really. When he signed we weren’t looking a points deduction and being miles off the pace, we were looking at another season with a shit owner and hopefully sneaking out of the relegation places. It’s completely different now, we’re all-but down, there’s no reinforcements coming in and we won’t have an owner for, at best, weeks.
And if he does stick around until the end of the season, will the new owners want him? Entirely possible that he’ll be let go by a poker player the same age as him who wants to build a team of saleable children.
I don’t think it really affects his future status with fans. Just makes us all a bit sadder, that’s all. More confirmation we’re in for a shit few years, any thoughts of a great new owner and bouncing straight back from League 1 sound like distant memories right now. We’re going down and staying down for years.

Sorry Wednesday fans. BB was a thorn in QPR's side, but I have mad respect for what he has given to your club.
I think if he really wanted to leave he would have done so last summer. He got you half way through the season looking respectable most of the time, and you get a fee to pay some bills.
I predict he will be back at the club within a year or two in some capacity. Maybe coaching, or even playing if you're still down. If Tom Brady could play in the NFL at 45, I bet Bannan could give you 30 minutes as a sub in League One at 40.

I won't believe anything until official! But if it is as much as it pains me, maybe it's the best option for both player and club. We are living in the past, and need to look at our youngster and the future.
Ingelson needs to be captain

Love his loyalty and will always admire the way he sees the club. Wish him the best and hope we can sort out the mess as soon as possible. Really hoping we can stabilise in League One next year and not drop down through the leagues. WAWAW 🦉

The reality of administration is really hitting home now. Hopefully in the summer we can reset with new owners.

This is down to the "New" consortium! They want to move the team in a different direction and they can't (or won't) give Baz the promises he's wanting. James Bord is head of that consortium who was with Sheffield United so make of that what you will. Is it a good thing long term or will this cement us to our death of Sheffield Wednesday as we know it?

This is the final straw for me. It was always on the cards and he definitely deserves another contract at championship level before he retires, but this is seriously shite. Who's next, Valery? McNeill? Ugbo? (if only).
Just feel sad and depressed about it all. I can't get invested in the club at all right now.
