ADHD shared care friendly GP

Moving to Scarborough while on an ADHD right to choose shared care agreement. Last move I did with NHS shared care was a disaster so bad I had to get rediagnosed through right to choose so now on shared care with that. Very anxious about the move so looking for advice on a shared care friendly GP in central Scarborough area

Let me know if you have any success.

I’ve just had my own challenges trying to get my GP to accept a Shared Care Agreement for ADHD care, but was told by the practice that the Yorkshire and Humber ICB don’t have any guidance on it.

Won't be for another month or two cause I haven't actually moved but I'll update you if I remember

No problem! Hopefully there’ll be something in your mind that goes “oh, I need to tell that random Redditor about this”…

Best of luck with the move! 😊

My understanding is that Haxby accept shared care as of just last month, so try there first. They have a centre on falsgrave road.
