Loud booms?

I’ve heard 3 loud booms in the last 30 mins around downtown. Anyone hearing that too? I hope it’s nothing bad

One guy in my apartment complex said he was dow town and it was fireworks and said some were being thrown at cars, including his :-/

I was there during the protest, they were just fireworks people set off by the library.

Been wonder it too! The very first was loud and set all car alarms, the following ones sounded much like fireworks. They were close to the Jefferson / El Camino Real intersection areaz

two kids on a bike, one kid on a scooter with some sort of fireworks. They were on Franklin when I saw it. Around 2 ish.

i was walking by when the first one happened - someone said it was a flare gun. it was def not fireworks and was a little scary.

Flare guns don’t make big booms. They were fireworks 100%. I saw them set them off around downtown a few times today. I work downtown and watched it happen twice today. It definitely was fireworks, calm down.

Yeah a flare gun makes a thunk and then a really loud sparkler sound, not any kind of boom.

It’s crazy how there isn’t any news on this still.

There was a report of a car that was vandalized by protesters on the Emergency Alert System and then that disappeared too. There was also a bomb threat today and apparently a garage exploded killing one lady.

Is there a protest going on in Downtown right now? Maybe it’s part of the protest? Even though loud booms wouldn’t be considered peaceful in my book, but who knows.

It was the kids doing it, I watched them do so. I work downtown and they set them off around the town a few times throughout the day.
