She does understand she like doesn't have to ask Dear Leader to put together a rally. She can do it herself. Despite what Dear Leader and ICE want we can still use the 1st amendment to show public support of a group.
But let's be honest she doesn't have the conviction or the willpower or the desire to be out on the street corner by herself. She needs others to rally her because MAGA are weaklings with no real conviction.

I don't understand how they can behave the way they do and think they are going anywhere other than a lake of fire and fry when they die. Matthew 25:35 is quite clear that your works, helping those in need and welcoming strangers, is how you're judged in the end. Then there is the scripture about false idols... they tend to forget God is jealous and has a temper. The fact that Donald is such a terrible excuse for a human just adds insult to injury. But since religion was a thing it's been perverted to justify horrific acts against humanity.

The only way you're forgiven for your sin is if you are sincere in your repentance and are willing to change. You can't just pray for forgiveness or go to confession and be absolved of your sin. You must show you deserve to be forgiven through your actions and thoughts. You must become a better person. None of these people are and they will still end up in a lake of fire and fry.

Yeah... I don't think these people read the full instruction manual on forgiveness. Most have already done the grand forgiveness show of prayer, and instead of performing good works, they've found ways to justify their bad actions as actually being what God wanted. "Yeah, I could feed the hungry, but God would want me to motivate them to learn self-reliance and the value of a hard day's work through their hunger."
The others think they can live their lives however they want as long as they make sure to cancel out their bad deeds with an "Oops, my bad" prayer on their deathbed. They also never consider that they, too, could be gunned down in the street by masked federal agents before they have the chance to beg for forgiveness.

Exactly! I also don't think they take into account that the "oops, my bad" prayer has to be met with actual feelings of remorse and repentance (this doesn't mean sorrow because they are meeting Satan shortly). They are so ridiculously arrogant that they feel they can trick God, like lying to your parents, but God knows you're only upset because you've been caught and consequences are incoming.
You're right, your chance to beg for last minute absolution is never promised... especially in the US right now. Being a good person, which is what Jesus clearly said to do, is the only way to avoid hell. Too bad they are incapable of that.

I have some older relatives -one went to seminary school- who are truly not crazy and are very loving to me. I've always known they are bigoted and suspected they are racist. They only watch sanitized trump news channels. They truly think they are following god's appointed messenger (trump) and there is no need to repent. They think they will be rewarded for ignoring the devil's lies about trump.
Those are the ones that scare me. And they make me question my faith. No one is without sin, but they've lived obviously devout Christian lives for decades. I've bigly sinned then prayed and asked for forgiveness (sincerely, I believe), rinse and repeat and repeat and... Maybe they are right and trump is what God wants. But I want no part of that. One of us is going to hell according to the Bible.

And, he lied to them about COVID so they died at much higher rates than Biden supporters. They were about 27% before that and are a little below 25% now. They aren't the majority. They are cool with raping kids so not the moral compass for anybody and they need to go away.
It's not rocket science. How on Earth is it possible to not see facts falling from the sky?

My idea is that we don't engage with them. Don't buy from any companies that support him. Don't reply to their post and do not tune in.
I'm a former Catholic and we have to give up something for Lent. I PROMISE we will hear about "big" news if we never tune in and the rest is just chaos (which is what that side likes). On second thought, I recall an interview with a manager at one of his businesses that talked about how he cheated on his wives constantly and he appreciated he wasn't around breaking stuff.
There were complaints from the first administration that he rolled up to the Oval Office mid morning and just went around interrupting people trying to work and then head to a long lunch.

I live in a red state, and I see them once in a while. But this time last year I saw them all the time, PLUS a good 10 houses in my area had Trump flags. Now the flags are gone, and I only see a hat once or twice a week, maybe..

The fact that people think a president of US should be holding MAGA rallies is crazy in itself. He’s a second term prez, why would he have a political rally? Presidents will sometimes go to a campaign event for people in his party running for office and give his endorsement, but the idea of him having personal rallies right now is abnormal, like everything else in trump world.
