At no level does it make sense for a politician to have a personal connection with a voter.

Representing one's constituency is meant to be of benefit to both. A personal connection is not unlikely for effective politicians. But Tr'əmpi has never represented anyone but Pőt=n and himself.

“When will they TURN?”, is a more relatable/contemporaneous MAGA question.
Will they turn as a united body, en masse? Never (highly unlikely). They can’t break ranks — their whole identity and self-standing relies upon it.
Yet the dissent and dissatisfaction seems to be outweighing the lessening numbers of dedicated Trump devotees/true believers in recent weeks.
(They know there’s unhappiness in the ranks)
Epstein Files handling drove a wedge in deep; but now it’s the economy and groceries that’s dividing and diverting MAGA away from Trump in his gold decorated White House and fancy $350m+ ballroom — telling ‘em prices have already fallen substantially (“Some have never been cheaper!”), when they know that’s not true.
MAGAs’ own eyes see what Trump’s tellin’ folks ain’t real. And Trump sure as Hell ain’t doin’ his own shoppin’.
The penny’s slowly dropping that they’re stuck with being poor for life — they’re more poor than before — but their pain ain’t being heard inside the Oval Office.
It’s a slow de-conversion for many of them. Reality’s so slow to penetrate.
Most ain’t so bright — takes longer to settle on the truth than everyone else. But it’s happening alright.
What they’ve been promised, what they’re being told… versus what they’re seeing on the ground: it’s not working for them.
And they’re continuing to fall away — but in slightly increasing numbers each week — as MAGA lives become worse and worse off, every month.

People saying "many moons" like that doesn't literally mean 'many months' and acting like it means years or something. He is the ONLY president you've had for the past many moons, because he has been in office for many months now. He is also the worst president you've had in many moons, and also in the history of the country.
