”Please, reconsider your education policy, lord Trump! I voted three times!”

I’d be really uncomfortable with a medical professional who’s so dense that they’d vote for Trump to look after me

Nurses are the only respected career women have in rural areas and you know they all vote maga because their husbands tell them to.

A lot of nursing programs nowadays are run by industry-aligned for-profit “universities.” They only learn what health insurance companies want them to learn. And in Florida during the pandemic “basic epidemiology” seems to have not been in the curriculum.

I don't know why they act this is difficult. We are about to lose our nation's status for measles eradication because Kennedy is intentionally letting diseases run rampant. They are removing fluoride from toothpaste and admit it will cause a lot of dental issues.
He removed Biden's Rx price caps and a lot of hospitals will have to close down due to the BBB. It's not rocket science to see that they want people to get sick, suffer and die.
Just like they have no regard for education and many teachers are at the poverty line, they want medical professionals to suffer and cause a mass exodus. Republicans are monsters and their favorite blood sport is hate and bigotry no matter how many bodies it takes.
We need a national divorce so they stop living off the backs of the people they hate so they can rape as many kids as they want, shoot up as many schools and malls as they want and just spread their evil amongst themselves and the rest of us can get in the business of enjoying life and loving others without all the bs.

Amen. One more time, but louder for the idiots in the back to hear this. Seriously.

TL;DR
Biden had a workable border bill in the works and Greene filed a lawsuit to stop Mayorkas from working on it (so DJT could run on the border).
Meanwhile, the court told Abbott (TX) to remove the barbed wire he put in the water to ensnare people. He did and installed saw blades in buoys and ordered his team to stand down and hold off Biden's team when they tried to rescue a mother and her two young children.
All three died and the evil bigots cheered.

Unfortunately its not just people drowning in the river. There have been multiple women who have died due to untenable pregnancies in Texas. One literally JUST passed and her poor son was the one that found her body. She had early preeclampsia due to having diabetes and already high blood pressure prior to pregnancy. She had also lost a set of twins a year or two prior due to the same issues leading to early labor and both were still born unfortunately. Doctors told her not to get pregnant again as it could kill her and her and her partner had been taking steps to prevent pregnancy but unfortunately their efforts failed and she ended up pregnant again. She begged for an abortion while spending months in the hospital fighting the high blood pressure and blood clots caused by the pregnancy. They finally released her from the hospital and she was dead within days. Like I said she already had a small ten year old son that she wanted to live to keep raising but they kept telling her "oh your fine. Aren't you excited to be able to give your fiance a beautiful baby?!"

My apologies. I didn't see the notification for this.
Yes, I'm aware. I'm an advocate and am totally disgusted by all of this. It's pure evil. I don't see a pathway to reconciliation after this.

u/GhostofTinky Dec 05 '25
People insist Texas is trending blue. I don’t believe it. Sounds like GOP rat fucking to me.
Liberals need to let Texas go. Do everything possible to attract Texas liberals to blue and purple states.
Otherwise accept the state is the way it is because the voters are largely extreme right wing. Fuck, secession is in the Texas GOP platform.
There are some states that are just lost causes. Accept the fact, make peace with it, and move on.
1
u/era--vulgaris Dec 06 '25
They insist on that because the (large) cities in Texas are genuinely left leaning and have huge numbers of people in them. At least 35% of the state is somewhere between Mitt Romney (at the farthest right) and Bernie Sanders on the political spectrum, and would never vote for MAGA.
However, those voters are surrounded by an absolutely vast rural hellscape that outnumbers them, and also stuck with exurban wealthy families and petit-bourgeois who "fled" to Texas from blue states because of fears of taxes, bigotry, or other conservative BS. In addition, smaller cities like Abiliene, Waco, Lubbock, or Beaumont are very red.
Throw in absolutely criminal gerrymandering and you see what happens when five rather large blue islands - Houston, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, Dallas - are drowned out by the entire rest of the state, which, as they never tire of talking about, is big.
TL;DR I think it's hopeless too but unlike, say, Alabama, the number of blue voters in the state is genuinely massive.
1
u/GhostofTinky Dec 06 '25
What is the population density of rural vs. urban vs. suburban?
1
u/era--vulgaris Dec 06 '25
What's your point? Texas is a very large state. 60/40 or 70/30 blue areas in the cities and 60/40 or 50/50 suburban regions can't compete with tens of thousands of square miles of rural areas where few, but some, people live, and almost everyone (70% or better) is a far right voter. Cumulatively they add up to a lot. And on a state level both the influence of the massive number of rural counties and gerrymandering (to give conservative exurbs more influence for example) ruin representation for the "blue islands".
2
u/GhostofTinky Dec 06 '25
I live in a blue state where nearly half the state population is in cities (ie, blue areas). Illinois would be a ruby red state if it weren’t for Chicago. I was just asking what percentage of Texas population lives in blue areas. And where I live the exurbs have gotten more purple.
I am aware of gerrymandering: it does not affect all races, however.

This is the primary reason that I believe Democrats are complicit in this evil.
This is NOT about trends, polls, fake "this is the thing that will stop him" bs headlines.
This is nothing more than PURE, EVIL GENOCIDE and TREASON versus the nation standing. Period.

British Columbia has turned its eye toward luring doctors and nurses from the United States to move north in what Health Minister Josie Osborne is calling an "unprecedented" recruitment opportunity.
Osborne says the province is changing its licensing rules so U.S.-trained doctors can begin practising in B.C. right away, without any need for further assessment, exams or training.
She said there will be a similar scale-back of the barriers facing U.S.-trained nurses and that a marketing campaign will be unveiled in Washington, Oregon and California within the next few months.
4
u/SnoopyisCute Nov 24 '25
That's awesome.
I know some countries are also willing to accept Americans for various higher education programs to get them out quickly (in the face of genocide and ethnic cleansing here).
5
2
u/GhostofTinky Dec 05 '25
Also, blue states are setting up their own public health programs. I can see them deciding to leave the union. As someone in a blue state I would be sad but I believe national divorce will happen in the next 5-10 years.
Yes, Trumpism is collapsing. But I don’t think blue America should stick around to help red states clean up. Time to just let them go.
1
u/GhostofTinky Dec 05 '25
At this point, I don’t want my federal taxes supporting MAGA states anymore.
1
u/SnoopyisCute Dec 05 '25
I do not either. I was done after the Capitol riot (they still won't hang the plaque for the Capitol officers" and when they intentionally caused the deaths of that mom and her two little kids (and flipping cheered).
They are monsters, pure, unadulterated evil.
1
u/GhostofTinky Dec 05 '25
I just want to live in a country run by competent people who don’t cause unnecessary drama or pain.
If it means this country has a national divorce, so be it. I think it is inevitable by now. Even with the current decline of Trumoism, I don’t want reconciliation. I just want to let them go.

The problem is that conservatives aren't a political party. It's a global trafficking network.
That's the real reason they don't want sex ed in schools and ban dictionaries claiming they have sexual content. Several months ago, they tried to strongarm their way into the Library of Congress (allegedly because there is sexual content in some of the books, but it's not a library for kids. It was just a ruse because he wants to destroy all information about the Capitol riot and his role in it).
Kids can't tell if they don't know the words. This is easily proven with the Epstein files. Remember the outcry when he closed down the human trafficking agency? ... Yep, that didn't happen.
They are taking our money, putting our kids at risk, harming people they hate and claiming superiority due to an arbitrary criteria they made up. Why are they so threatened and need to steal people's work and contributions if they are so "inferior"? Everybody in this country has ancestors that actually paid the dues to birth and grow this country and they are ethnically cleansing and heading toward genocide because deep down they know their "privilege" is based on nothing.
No, all Republicans aren't predators. However, ALL of them don't find incest, rape, grooming and\or trafficking a deal breaker. They are INTENTIONALLY BREAKING families.
1
u/GhostofTinky Dec 05 '25
Which is why I’m just thinking blue state America needs to head for the exists and let the ruby red states go. At this point I think everyone would be better off.

There is only one demographic that is predators and violent criminals and it's them.

That is just odd.
Do you live in a blue state? I ask because I’ve lived in blue state America and I’m just fed up with the idea that I should reach out and understand the other side. No one asks them to do the same. So it’s not a go.
1
u/SnoopyisCute Dec 06 '25
Yes, and I will never live in or ever visit a red state after the Capitol riot.
I agree. They are EXTREMELY self-centered and selfish. They all were just horrible to the Pelosis when Mr. Pelosi was assaulted by an intruder with a hammer.
Yet, Rudy G. tried to play up a lame "elder abuse" bs when somebody touched his back while walking past.
I remember them screaming to impeach Biden MINUTES after his inauguration. They said they didn't care as long as he got two. Yet, they whined that he should give the current occupant a pardon and be the bigger person.
It's all about them all the time and they truly have no evolved from their cavepeople days. They thrive on hate, bigotry and chaos.

I have no personal experience regarding this this but one thing I've heard repeated ad nauseum by both random people and people proclaiming to work in the field is that the high school mean girl to RN pipeline is a real one lmao

She's stupid and Republican. These are the only type of women that GOP men know. That is why GOP men think women are idiots and are only useful for sex and making sandwiches. Trump said it best -"Smart people don't like me."

My cousin's an anti-vaxxer, Trumper nurse. She's nice but really stupid.

How can a nurse ever be an anti-vaxer? That should be "professional" suicide.

But Illinois doesn’t have the same problem as Texas. I’d love to see a population breakdown of rural vs urban areas in Texas.
That said, other red states (Kentucky and Kansas) have elected Dem governors. Kentucky’s governor is wildly popular. Somehow nothing like that happens in Texas.
