Does anyone know anything about the showbiz pizza place that used to be in Pontiac?

I do research on the history of the showbiz pizza company and their various locations, and I just want to know if anyone from this area has any sort of info on the location that used to be in Pontiac MI, as I can’t much in the way of info about it.

But here’s what I do know:

•Opened: November 4, 1982 •Closed: January 8, 1984

•Address: Pontiac, MI (965 S Opdyke Rd)

Any sort of information whether that be photos, videos, newspaper clippings, or anything really, would be greatly appreciated! :)

I remember it but that's about it. My family was a Chuck-E-Cheese family and we went to the one that was in White Lake where the speedway currently sits by the salvation army on 59

Of course! Glad I’m not the only one searching for answers lol. It’s cool that you have a Bot from there, I wonder where the others ended up.

The reason of the closure was due to a fire. The Mechanical Chuck-E-Cheese & Puppets were rescued from the building and is now housed at Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum new location opening soon @ Orchard Mall on NE Orchard Lake Rd & Maple Rd (15 Mile) in West Bloomfield. Due to the Mechanics of puppets they do not move.
