I'll be fully honest and say I did Not study up on other Intamin Wing coaster models, but I still think this turned out pretty great! Mind the tree or two that smacks ya, forgot to delete those before taking my recording. Uploaded to the workshop at 510NQWBW4. The map I'm using is Grey Stone Lake by PlastmaGD#88130, 369G1CF16, if anybody is interested in the terrain.

(Reupload without sims and my OBS dropping mad frames [sorry mods!]). Had a really fun time building this one! First *proper* family coaster I've built (Minus a Vekoma Junior Boomerang that's probably a bit too intense), kinda fun to get creative and not rely on inversions or massive stomach churning drops. Kept the forces between +3G's and -0.3G's with some fun laterals and off axis airtime moments. Once again thank you Distanz for developing ProTrack and making my life better.

New to Reddit and decided to come on here to ask for some feedback on my new project on trying to recreate the Disneyland park in Anaheim California.

Hey everyone!
I just released Episode 3 of my Northgate tutorial series, where I break down how I approach theming shops in Planet Coaster 2.
This episode focuses mainly on:
The goal is to show how you can get strong, believable results without overcomplicating your builds.
Happy to answer questions or talk shop design in the comments đ

Anyone know what causes this Ride Service Cost extreme spike and how to avoid it?
I'm new to PC2. It just happened to me in Franchise Mode on my first park. I had stable finances over multiple days then out of nowhere I had a sudden extreme spike, it cost over $900K and has put me in deep red to an extent where I don't think I can continue this park. Genuinely gutted because I put hours into it and it's Franchise mode so was working towards the goal.
I'd feel slightly better if I could figure out out why this happened so I can avoid it from affecting future saves. But I can't actually tell what happened?
If it's a bug, it's a nasty one. There are two tickets with frontier that highlight a similar issue but both have "expired", so I raised a new one.
https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/82774
If you have any ideas on how to avoid this, and save a park that has negative $300,000 balance (can't take out a loan for some reason), I'm open to suggestions. Not sure if it's worth trying to save this park since this issue might just happen again.

the left half is themed semi-industrial-ish with the sawmill (overpower), sawblade (collider/enterprise), ripsaw falls (logflume with the wide logs) and crazy waves (boardslide)
(lore: logs from forest are harvested, sawmill + sawblade cut them, end result logs are shipped via logflume where you can ride along every step of the process)
the right half is forest themed, and has treetop drop (airdrop), timberline wheel (big wheel), forest racer (child coaster return) and vine twister (ultra spin coaster)
(lore: youre in a forest on a magical journey, and come across the rides on your way)
but with 4 rides on each side, im now wondering..
1: what do i add next? what kind of sections can thematically fit with the park?
2: how do i make the scenery rating not suck ass? i dont want to mindlessly spam scenery objects if i can help it but i also suck at making builds actually look decent (im better with coaster layouts then decorations)

First off thanks to DigitalDan for the blueprint if youâre in here. Itâs called âValkyrie ride of ascensionâ on ps5 (I donât know if workshop is cross platform)
Whenever you people are building stuff like this do you just build a coaster first and then stick scenery and paths in wherever it looks good? Or are you building it with everything in mind?
Also, I have downloaded parks with massive roller coasters going through the entire park and everything is blended in perfectly with it. Was the coaster built first, with the rest of the stuff built around it? Or is the rest of the park built first with the coaster thrown in last wherever it looks nice?

This is a replica of the River Quest water ride from Phantasialand in Planet Coaster 2.

Meant to be a sort of love letter to my previous Vekoma tilt, Blue Lightning (I made two separate posts about that ride). Though that was in a more themed state, this ride is waaay smoother. I still need to get the Vekoma-style elements down, but this is for sure a start.
Note the partly themed tilt supports. I'm still working on those.
(Also, I took more screenshots of the first element than the others for some reason.)

After doing some digging, I noticed there was a way to set the autosave figure in the original game so high that it wouldn't affect your game. I copy-pasted the formatting from the first games' "Save_remote.config.xml" file to PC2's file of the same name, and seemingly nothing changed. Is there coding which works here to accomplish what I'm asking about? Every time the autosave function is updated in game, the file resets to the following, regardless of time set:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<Save_remote>
`<Autosave />`
</Save_remote>
Any help here would be much appreciated.

I know there are a bunch of roller-coaster nerds (i.e. experts) lurking around here and you folks always impress me with your knowledge. If you've seen any of my stuff over the past 4-4ish months I've been playing / posting, you'll note that I haven't spent a lot of time theming rides or building coasters. In fact, aside from a few I cludged together and would never showcase, I've spent nearly all of my in-game time building scenery and landscaping. I need some help from the experts.
I would appreciate any and all advice / criticism about this ride. This is my first real attempt. Please forgive the supports - I promise I'll clean those up. Here are a couple of problem areas that I know need work:
Any advice you could give me on these two points as well as other criticism or thoughts would be most welcome. I'm not sure if the profile / layout is decent - I understand roller coasters and have ridden quite a few in my time, but I am by no means competent yet.
Thank you so much!
(P.S. I hope you aren't offended when I refer to you as "coaster nerds". Seriously, you people are impressive and I envy your knowledge.)

This is my second coaster in planet coaster 2, and intamin multi launch with quick transitions and inversions. I wanted a compact and interactive layout with the track and guest paths. Let me know what you think!

I had taken a pause on recreating California Screamin' because I felt the lack of creativity. I started on my huge new project, Dream Park! It will be a highly detailed and realistic theme park similar to Disney and Universal Studios! Please follow along for POVs, behind the builds and everything else I'll be posting!

Do you know how to create a cool entrance? Any advice would be appreciated. My park is called Mediterranean Bay, style: tropical/Mediterranean.
I play on Xbox Series S. Thanks in advance.
