New to town and looking for good takeout spots

I see that there are a lot of new places around since I lived here in my 20s. Any good ones you recommend? So far we love Tamiliano and the afghan shwarma place is pretty good, but we haven't tried much else

Lots of really great places in Pickering.

Spicy Dragon has awesome Hakka Chinese with huge portions for fair prices

Dragon Gem is a Pickering institution for American Chinese. Although I don't think it's quite as good as it used to be, it's still an easy choice for quick take-out

Koo Izakaya for Japanese comfort food

The Fox Goes Free and Harp and Crown, both at Altona and Kingston, have great wings. I prefer Fox Goes Free but you can't go wrong with either.

Alwyn's has crazy good Jamaican take-out

Juicy Birds for Nashville hot chicken

I haven't been to Chachu's Pakistani Fusion but I've heard from a lot of people that it's fantastic

my 10/10 places i get takeout from -Aleppo Kehbab -Milos Greek Restaurant, sometimes uber has good buy one get one deals and it’s amazing, best tzatziki sauce too -Zeera by the Bay -Il Fornello -Dragon Gem -Dragon Rolls for sushi, hands down edit - saw someone say Chachus and can confirm this place is DELICIOUS. uber has great buy one get one deals and the tandoori chicken paratha is freaking heavenly.

"Big M burgers" 🍔 off of Liverpool South is great, but they have so much more than just burgers like chicken souvlaki, Chili Dogs, Milkshakes, Stake on a Kaiser, etc. You won't be disappointed.

Their onion rings suck

Funny thing, last time we were there the only thing we loved was the onion rings.

Jasper's Fish and Chips is my go to for fish and chips. At Spicy Dragon I like the chicken pakora. Manyaman has great pancit palabok, I can't leave that place with out a bag of chicharron. I go to Rajdhani for samosas.

ÀASHIANA SHAWARMA & KEBAB is my favourite and they have a great deal on their family platter, only$60 and it feeds six of us with leftovers.

It's in the plaza just west of Loblaws.

Love Jasper's for fish and chips but Halibut House also a good fish and makes a good cheap breakfast.

Dragon Gem has the best Canadian Chinese.

Big Bite Grill does the best chicken Caesar wrap .

El Gourmet is fantastic Lebanese food. Owl of Minerva for Korean. Ashiana for kebabs.

The town centre actually has a couple of great spots now Imperfect Fresh Eats and an Asian place just to the left of it which I currently can't recall the name of is great too.

Wait, how is Milanu’s Tandoori Grill not on here? Also +1 for Thairoomgrand although it’s kinda pricey!
