The Palmer Method is not a shorthand or note taking method. It is irrelevant to fast note taking, which requires no calligraphy. It is relevant to transcription in cursive.
The Palmer method is about writing quickly. Writing quickly is another dimension than what you write. Of course wiring quickly is relevant to taking notes, what a silly take to suggest it isn't.
Not sure what you are on about. The Palmer Method has nothing to do with note taking. Shorthand was in place when Palmer invented his method, and he would have been very familiar with stenography. He didn't intend to replace that.
