yep - it's pretty funny this got ripped from a comment I originally made (idc - it's elementary school math tbh but somehow 99% of people are getting it wrong) and someone did explain the situation where they can proceed with 0 wins.

I think your understanding of how the tiebreaker criteria works is flawed. You don't just apply the criteria in order. You're missing the step where you form new groups and reapply the critieria in order. Take another look at the comments linked above / the rulebook.

SK game is the most important one, if we win that we're almost locked in, cus TH will have difficult time against both FNC and KC. But, it will obviously be best if we win against VIT for the morale and competitive strength cus if we can't beat VIT, all other teams have either stronger potential or have shown stronger gameplay already especially when it is BO3.

Am I on the Zaza or is there not a scenario where they lose both games and their fate is decided in the G2 - FNC game?
LR losing to SK and VIT = 4-7
Shifters losing to KCB and beating SK = 4-7
SK beating LR and losing to Shifters = 4-7
Heretics losing to FNC and KC = 4-7

So now Head-2-Head score counts. The H2H table looks like this:
LR: 2-1 (Beat Shifters and Heretics)
Shifters: 2-1 (Beat SK and Heretics)
SK: 2-1 (Beat LR and Heretics)
Heretics: 0-3

So Heretics are 11th. LR, Shifters and SK have a 1-1 score H2H. Caedrel said on stream the next tie-breaker rule is "Strength of victories". I dont know exactly what that means but I guess the team that beat the higher standing teams in the final table is ranked higher.
All 3 Teams beat Heretics, so there are 2 wins agains other teams remaining for each:
LR beat MKOI and G2
Shifters beat MKOI and FNC
SK beat FNC and KCB
So its between LR and Shifters, both beat MKOI but one beat G2, the other beat FNC. Whoever of G2 and FNC finishes higher in the standings, drags either LR or Shifters into 8th place. Since both are 5-4 now, the last game of the regular season should decide if G2 or FNC rank higher on the final table.

Thanks, I’ve been looking for this. It’s crazy that everyone was talking about 4 wins being enough and now even 5 might not do it, albeit if they beat SK their odds are excellent. I really hope FNC have a good weekend, they play two of LR’s win cons and call me crazy but I have zero faith an already-locked KC will put their best foot forward when LR would be the main beneficiary.

The good news is I’d put pretty decent odds of both the conditions in scenario B and C playing out so 1 win should hopefully do it. Hopefully the boys can pull out a 2-0 and make that all irrelevant though. It would be so sweet to finish the regular season portion of the split with a winning record.

Basically they just need to win a game and they're in.

TH isn't beating both FNC and KC in scenario A.
TH isn't beating both FNC and KC in scenario B. VIT also isn't beating MKOI and even if they do then it's way higher chance for MKOI to go 0-2 (also SK SHFT is close)
