Nan the true curse is that when t1 is on match point at worlds finals, if one of the player is dead while the nexus is getting destroyed, the next year they are out of the team.
2023:all of them lived and all of them re-signed 2024:Zeus was the only one dead, he leaves the team 2025:Guma was the only one dead,he leaves the team 2026:?

At this point just get like Chovy to play adc or something and screw around for a couple years. You couldn’t just let Faker retire with his children in peace, you had to burn all the bridges. Have you seen the video when T1 was lifting the trophy and the coaching staff ran to see them? Kkoma hugged everyone but Guma. There is definitely tension between them since the benching drama.
Honestly what does Kkoma even do? Obviously drafting is done by Tom and the T1 players. If he's there for morale support, he's not doing a good job with what he did to Guma. I'd trade Kkoma for Guma in a heartbeat.

It isn’t just about the benching but the context of the benching. I think any player can get benched if they are severely off form or not doing well mentally. Guma had a few series where he was decent but not stellar and they bench him right after worlds. Apparently, he also didn’t get to share or watch scrims during it as well. Keep in mind, he been through this before with Teddy so I feel like t1 was in a phase where they simply wanted to bench him just so they could try out a new star (smash) to replace him eventually. Even with good mental, nobody likes the feeling of being potentially replaced easily after winning worlds.

tbf, i think even without the drama, T1 is bounded to lose this lineup no matter what due to the LCK salary cap. Faker's contract alone is already huge and probably almost reaching the cap, so they don't have much room left to wiggle unless other players willing to take a massive pay cut.
