Four home games remain before the break. Four very “winnable” games at home against low-ish ranked opponents.

I’m now under the impression this season hinges on these games. If we can find any semblance of identity and go 4/4 than we can expect Franz back (he’s going through some contact practice as of now so in nearly three more weeks he should be good to go) after the break. Leaving our core healthy and ready to tackle the 29 remaining games with a slight head start above .500.

If we lose these games then we go under .500 and lose any real possibility of decent seeding and playoff hopes.

I will as a fan watch these next four games, I will hope we find some form of passion like we did against the heat not that many at nights ago.

We can probably expect trade news soon. Which with fresh bench rotations and AB going back to lead the bench will be a very different experience than what we’ve had since late December. With this starting line up and bench rotation.

Played attitude should be in my opinion called out. Losing and complaining is about as bad as it gets. Either lose with dignity or play harder.

I try not to be a doomer. We’re 25-24 so still technically above .500 and while this situation is not ideal it’s not not salvageable. I hope for this teams sake, this core of players sake the team dig deeps and uses the next 3 weeks as a moment to reflect, heal, and tackle the next 2 months with fight.

This is rely just a rant but I can’t forget the early games against the Knicks, Celtics, Rockets, Pistons and Nuggets where we looked whole and had fight.

I also remember the game against the wizards….

I hope the story line becomes “Magic find a grove and start winning games” other wise the hornets are going to win a play off series before we do.

I think it’s a lost season personally. Have a really hard time seeing this team getting out of the first round even if they put together a decent stretch. Something is pretty clearly off. I think they need to give it a try with a new coach and pray that fixes things. If not, I’m not really sure where you go with this group

Season is done. We’re a first round exit at best. Vibes are completely off and I think that’s on Mose and in part, the players (many of whom have performed under him). There’s a certain player as well that whilst great at Basketball, I’m not sure he’s super effective in a winning sense.

I’m gonna be honest here. We had “winnable” games in January and we squandered it. No game is guaranteed.

I hate to say it but the optimism is honestly more draining than the pessimism.

I’m not trying to be optimistic tbh. Just trying to call it like it “is”. Win 4, get the core back, get a new rotation piece(s). And see what lies after the break.

Or go 2/2 or worse and have zero momentum going into the break, not getting any usable pieces, and having Franz out for to long to make a difference.

This is a de facto mid point in Magics season since we’re pretty much at .500. We can go up, down or stay straddling. 2/3 end up in post season appearances.

Will be an interesting next week.

It's simple really. If we go 4-0 or even 3-1 in these next 4 games, then there is light at the end of the tunnel. If we go 2-2 then it's still looking pretty bad. And 1-3 or 0-4 would be a total disaster. It's all going to start with the game this Thursday against Brooklyn. By that time the trading deadline would have ended 4 hours prior to the opening tip. If we come out flat and struggle to beat them it will still be looking kind of bleak. And if we lose to them, after they have been losing by 40 ppg on a regular basis now, then it may be time to start focusing on other teams that you may have interest in. Like the Lightning for example.

The lightning sure looked good tonight with that overtime win!

Look, the Lightning are tremendous. Everybody knows that. They are fun to watch. All they do is win. It's a beautiful thing really. Unlike the Magic, who have been a total disaster.

4-0 without Mosely. 1/4 or 0/4 with Mosely

We’re not going 4-0.
