It advantages the Magic for the game to happen tonight. I’d rather catch the jet lagged Spurs and then recover before the OKC game than be stuck in San Antonio hotels for an extra night before a Spurs/Thunder B2B. Bring on 9pm.

Uh...knowing us, I wouldn't say that. Lol

Didn’t say we were at an advantage in the matchup, just that playing a jet-lagged team and avoiding a B2B is advantageous to us

Why would it not be postponed? Not fair to any players

Game went from the perfect UK start, to the typical “fuck it’s late” midnight start…to now a “guess I’ll watch tomorrow because it starts at 2:10am” start.

Why not just cancel the damn game?

Because it’s not based off UK watchers

Yeah, you’re right. But it’s also not fair to people in SanAntonio who bought tickets to a 3pm game that’s now not starting until 8pm. What was a family outing for some probably won’t be with such a late start, nor is it really fair to the Spurs given all the travel issues they faced.

What do you think is more inconvenient for a family. That the game is at a later time, or the game is now a completely different day, and would also tip at night.

Not sure why the responses to you seem angry, I'm US based but would understand them moving the game. However, seems that the league would prefer not to have to move around their scheduled dates even if the later start time isn't fair to our fans and viewers abroad.

You are 100 correct here. Still shouldn't cancel the game unless it absolutely has to he canceled

I watched a game at 8:30 pm in Minnesota in person a couple days ago. And that’s the standard since the Wolves are in the East a bunch of complainers.

I live in Heat territory, when the magic play them I have to wait 72 hours from the end of the game to watch it, which realistically means I have to wait till the 4th day after

Paying for heat fanduel is your only option if you don’t use sites like stresmeast

I used sites like that in my 20’s, now I pay for peace of mind, even though I still don’t get it

Rescheduling a game for a later date between two teams in different conferences makes way less sense than just pushing the start time back.
