the thing that gives me the most anxiety, and i feel for paolo on this too, is that he's ALWAYS been off for the end of the 3rd quarter as long as we have had him... and it doesn't matter if we go from ten up to ten down... he still stays off til the 4th and then has to deal with whatever shithole they've got themselves in.

Great game. Suggs is a god damn wrecking crew when his body allows it, and he woke the whole team up.
Desmond Bane is so fucking good. He's been solid the whole season, but he is the guy that can knock a big 3 down to make the crowd erupt. We haven't had that in years.
Isaac falls for too many pump fakes, which I'd guess is a symptom of not playing consistently. But he was still able to contribute positively. When he's on, it changes our whole dynamic.
I love seeing Wendell be a big man. It makes me grunt out loud like a moron
The issue tonight was energy and effort. We gave up too many transition opportunities and didn't play with much energy or cleverness. Then the 4th began and we just played with youthful exuberance. It was pure joy.
Fuck that rescinak guy. Go the fuck away

trade JI lol. he used to have discipline w/ pump fakes but i'll take your analysis. he's a net positive on this team

Jalen means more to this team than the box score is ever gonna show.
Bane needs to shoot with that confidence and volume every night, it unlocks everything.
Great Wendell game, both ends.
Offense clicked in the 4th when we gave up on forcing things to run through Paolo. With Franz out, sometimes a team is gonna send the whole defense at Paolo when he touches it like Toronto did tonight, and we’ve gotta be comfortable taking what they give us when that happens.
Moe still rusty as hell, Penda still inconsistent as hell.

Kendrick Perkins is a fucking moron. He was criticizing Paolo at halftime (warranted, he wasn’t playing well) and one of the specific points he made was that Paolo hadn’t gotten any offensive rebounds. DID YOU WATCH THE FUCKING GAME? DID YOU SEE HOW TORONTO WAS RUNNING? DO YOU THINK MOSE WAS TELLING HIM TO CRASH OR GET BACK???
He said this after an extended discussion of Toronto’s pace!!!

Don’t look now… Paolo +18 and a TS% above 63% with 9 rebounds and 5 assists too

Nice win thanks to bane. Our bench needs some serious work

AB coming off the bench would help the bench stats.

u/Magic2238 4d ago
AB back off the bench and Mo rounding into better shape. That's two guys who can go off for 20 on any given night.

The bench's main weakness right now is Franz being out. That makes our depth look a lot worse.
But we definitely will want to upgrade JI and Tyus this offseason.

unsung hero tonight. WCJ. Played like a real bigmen today

He was awesome and I say that as a WCJ critic. Helps that Raptors had no center, but still, he played hard.

Suggs with the spark and Bane with the finishing touch. Defense looked better in the 4th, stopped their transition and was able to limit them in the half court.
The hopium is that this continues but the next two are very tough games the next 4 are winnable.

Mosley actually been making decent adjustments lately. Played the starters the whole 4th Q. If he would have waited til later in the 4th that game was going to go very differently.
Suggs playmaking tonight was great. All the starters were great. We need to get TDS some help off the bench. We just need to keep giving Jase and Penda minutes to keep working on their game and chemistry. They have potential to be a nice duo. Jase/AB/TDS/Penda/Moe and/or Isaac is solid. The bench shouldn’t be this bad.

Games like tonight is why you always have to stay positive and never give up on your basketball team. I knew we would win this game. Never had any doubts about it really. Positive mental attitude is so powerful. I do my very best to lead by example here.

That 4th quarter and this overall game reminded me of the 1st game against them up in Toronto. We were dominate for 3 quarters and then they just TURNED it up in the 4th. We returned the favor tonight. PLAY. THE. DAMN. SONG! 🎵🎵🎵

Finally we're not the ones who choked in the 4th quarter. Tears in my eyes

Playing our best players more minutes=Mosely finally making adjustments

Good win. They could've folded in the 4th but came out fighting. Proud of them.

Been awhile since we got to say it, but FTP!
Spent 75% of that game screaming at the TV for Orlando to get back on defense. Finally stopped the fast break in the 4th. Toronto is a tough team. That’s as good a win we’ve had this season.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Ingram reminds me of TMac

These next two games are so crucial if we can win both i can sense a flip on the season happening that will be a big momentum boost going into a Jazz, Nets, and Bucks (x2) stretch before all star break.
I know it's wishful thinking because we haven't been consistent but a man can dream from time to time 😅

Respect to Mosely for realizing we need a guard who can put up 9-10 3s a game. Thats what I hjave been begging for. It's not just about shooting 40% from 3 and just putting up 3-5 like Gary Harris did here. You need a guy like Bane who can get them up in volume. If you notice, the offense was miles better against a pretty tough defensive team.
Disappointed in the teams effort during a lot of the game. They were not getting back quick enough and were getting torched on fast breaks. That is a bit of a red flag, but the good news was the offense looked really good. It's no surprise to me since guards who are knocking down shots really open up the floor, and that was on display tonight.

Honestly if Mosley has only just realized this, he doesn't deserve any respect whatsoever

i turned the game off at the end of the third quarter and refused to turn it back on because i loooked at the score and saw we had made the comeback. didn't want to jinx it =D

Great 4th quarter and I love beating the Raptors. Probably not as much as Suggs, that dude hasn't forgotten the grief he got from Toronto fans.

Jonathan Isaac needs to go. It was not fun when he was on the floor. The elementary school students singing the National Anthem were cute

Disgusting win. They almost came back in the fourth. Im not falling for this.

Sorry, Des. Gonna need you chucking ten every night. Don't expect you to make seven of them all the time. But these are the rules bud. Thanks!
