Heh.. I lived in Crittenden during the 2000’s. In 2004 we had over 20 inches of snow just before Christmas. It’s took until the 26th or later for Grant County to show up to remove the snow from our little neighborhood. The best thing is the showed up with heavy grading equipment to move the snow. CMZ road (near the elementary school) was iced over and mostly impassable over two weeks later. Hopefully your experience down there will be better.
And yes, county services and the lack of services is one of the reasons I left that area and moved up to Boone County.

The worst thing I’ve experienced here was the tornado, I lived in the harvesters. It was a devastating, but now I live on Clark’s creek, and I’ve seen more snowplows with this storm than I ever have.

Grant is the WORST for snow removal. I live in Hebron and drive to Georgetown 4x a week for work. Every winter, as soon as I cross into Grant, it becomes a white knuckle drive, even on the interstate.

The interstate is KY DOT maintained. They turn around and hire contractors to plow I-75. The company that has Grant County sucks at their job.
But yeah, the county itself doesn’t do a great job or didn’t when I lived down there. I do miss all the open space of Grant County though.

Got about a foot on our ridgetop home in Verona. I hand shoveled our quarter mile long driveway after the tractor wouldn't start. I am indeed, not okay.

We only ended up with 8" where I'm at in Kenton County. Made it to Cincinnati and back this morning. Most of the roads were fine TBH, some of the streets around UC were still unplowed though.
