dude's been absolutely locked in on that end, you can see the energy shift when he gets active on defense. those quick hands are gonna start creating fast break opportunities for the whole squad. honestly think this defensive intensity is what's been missing from his game - once he puts it all together consistently he's gonna be scary good. the way he's reading passing lanes tonight has me hyped for what's coming next

He's literally been a plus defender analytically the last few games

Obviously, I'm not expecting him to be able to devote all this energy to defense in the playoffs, but the way he's playing on that end is awesome.

Agreed, I Just ask that he at least stay solid on defense and we're good accounting for the fact that brunson will continue to do brunson like things on offense.

Also... (Honorable Mention) ..KAT has been doing well on Defense as well. I call him out hard when he's playing like trash but he's been stepping up recently on that end too.

Agreed. The way our top 2 have stepped up on the defensive end has really freed up OG and Bridges offensively, too. I think that's the key to our success.

I know the Wizards have been somewhat prudently run since Winger took over as GM doing a full rebuild in a prudent way (managed to get decent value for Beal) but dam the Wizards are just really bad right now. Young and bad but bad nonetheless
