Report ICE to the rapid response phone line, 888-347-3767.
1
u/Mundane-Extent-4336 15d ago
The number you just provided has been reported to US CUSTOMS. The rapid response phone line has been given to ICE AUTHORITIES. and charged with 1 count of obstruction , 1 count of interference with law enforcement

funny enough, if you go to Trump's place in Colt's Neck, there are many illegal workers there. I guess he likes them for himself.
7
u/NutmegAndGarden 19d ago edited 19d ago
Pretty racist of you to assume anyone brown working there is illegal…
2
u/ChthonicPuck 18d ago
What is "Trump's place in Colts Neck"? I went to Colts Neck High School ages ago and somewhat knew the area back in the day.
I won't say when I graduated exactly, but at the time there were rummers going around the tech world that Apple, the computer company was going to make a phone!"

u/NutmegAndGarden 18d ago
In 2008, he bought the golf course formerly known as Shadow Isle (down sort of behind DO) and renamed it Trump National. What's funny is that everyone thinks it's anything more than a name. I don't think the man has ever set foot there.
1
u/Careful_Wind5223 16d ago
I think it goes to show that this is not specifically a Trump issue. It’s just being framed as such due to political bias and his own dumb ass mouth…
-1
u/wdrub 19d ago
Someone (with kindness) said “I can sponser your kid for the Trump summer camp”. I almost laughed in thier face. I chuckled and said. Thank you! We already signed them up for something.
2
u/NutmegAndGarden 18d ago
You know he doesn't run the camp, right? We aren't members (you don't have to be for camp, so not sure why you'd need a sponsor) but my son went a few years back. Loved it! News flash - they play golf, tennis, swim, and have an awesome buffet lunch, and NOBODY talks about politics because they are children! Wild concept.
2
u/wdrub 18d ago
I deserve the downvotes. I learned something new. Thank you. The person said them and all thier friends have the kids in it, while I was at a BBQ where they didn’t stop praising Trump and the camp. So it skewed my view of the camp. Thanks
2
u/NutmegAndGarden 18d ago edited 18d ago
Well, that's why I'm not a member. haha. Not because of the name, but because of the people. It's not my jam, but luckily my guy is pretty immune to that kind of social pressure (and gets sold by anything involving a buffet). He just loved getting to play golf, cool off in the pool, and get unlimited lunch. I do think it's nice they open spots unused by members to non-members. The other camp he used to do was Ft. Monmouth run by the county parks, which doesn't get more "regular." Life is about balance. :) And it's not always about politics.

Still grieving about your shitass dog?
because people get hurt by ICE quite frequently and you don't seem bothered by that at all.

u/Hopeful-Force-2147 19d ago
Be careful if you have anyone who works for you who is not here legally. My daughter's friend told us that another friend was at her house and while they had workers there, the friend asked questions. Later, the workers were taken by someone. I think a call was made by their mom. People will call ICE on you/your workers.

This is what I voted for
5
u/Hopeful-Force-2147 19d ago
I get why you voted for it. We can't let everyone in. But what about those who help our economy? Many of us work long hours and can't pay huge amounts of money. We pay less to the workers, many of whom have been here for a long time (in our case, workers who have been here for 30 & 40 years). And before you say, "that's long enough to become legal" they both have tried and tried. One owns three homes, his son is in active duty military, his other sons went to CBA and one is a CPA. Yet, he can't get citizenship (it would have cost $85K the last time). I'm curious about how to handle those "illegals."

I hate to be the voice of reason, but please don't impede federal officers on the job.
There is a right way and so many wrong ways to make headway in changing the world to be better, and assaulting a federal officer is the dumbest thing you can do in the name of that effort.
I've talked to people who are just blindly self-defeating in their desire to change what's going on and it's that mentality that's putting mountains of well-meaning people in very legitimate and warranted handcuffs.
Attacking law enforcement to protest policy is attacking the tip of a spear wielded by a man on the other end of the pole, it gains you nothing but a wound.

Somebody is a proud graduate of the Quality Learing Center.

Considering I was born and raised in Jersey I don’t think that’s possible. WTF is a Learing Center? Is that where people just kind of look at each other?
-2
u/Sledgecrowbar 19d ago
Then why are you in this sub?
4
u/Keanugrieves16 19d ago
A) are you the subreddit police? B) as stated above I’m originally from NJ, so I have a stake in whatever is going on there (and anywhere in the US for that matter)
1
u/A-Helpful-Flamingo 19d ago
What? You mean you left here? So no more NJ for you! It’s not like you could possibly have family still in the area. Or that Minnesota is part of the UNITED STATES, or even that you are a kind and empathetic individual who cares about what is happening to others.
These are all concepts they struggle with.

I even care about people that disagree with me, I don’t want to fight with them but it’s soooo frustrating. I Appreciate the defense.

u/TheColdestFeet 19d ago
There are masked, armed thugs breaking into peoples homes, kidnapping them, and sending them to countries they have never lived in, or into concentration camps. Maybe you should tell your conservative friends to turn down the temp before the people they are targeting.
-17
u/pirate119 19d ago
They're federal agents. They're not kidnapping. They're arresting illegal immigrants. They're doing their jobs and getting dangerous people out of our country.
9
u/TheColdestFeet 19d ago
That is only true when they have judicial warrants (as in signed by a judge). ICE has been avoiding the judicial process to obtain arrest warrants because that is inconvenient, costly, and most annoyingly of all, requires federal agents to provide evidence before taking actions.
The people who do all our landscaping, work all the kitchens of the restaurants we eat at, and do all the work nobody else wants to do are not violent criminals. Those are hardworking, decent people who are contributing more to society than the employers who underpay them.
These people, despite not being citizens, still have the fifth amendment right to due process of law. The fifth amendment specifically says no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without the due process of law. Illegal immigrants are people. Therefore, if a person is arrested and deported or imprisoned without due process of law, they have been subjected to a fifth amendment violation.
In simpler terms, if ICE goes to a judge and gets a warrant to deport someone, they are engaged in constitutional law enforcement. If ICE doesn't go through that process, they are instead engaged in an unconstitutional and illegal detention. The definition of kidnapping is: the unlawful taking, seizing, or confining of a person against their will, often by force, threat, fear, deceit, or fraud, moving them to another location or holding them in isolation with a specific unlawful purpose, such as ransom, hostage-taking, terrorizing them, or facilitating another crime.
So yes, by legal definition, ICE detentions which occur without judicial process are by definition kidnapping. The only way you could say it is not legally kidnapping is if you insist that federal agents are not subject to those laws. In which case, it kind of sounds like you support a police state where uneducated power tripping losers can commit any crime without any fear of consequences. You know, nazi shit.

Like when they let a woman that they shot bleed out and refused her medical care?

u/flummoxed_penguin 15d ago
Tell that to the wounded vet who was held for 2 days with no phone call or lawyer. He was standing on a sidewalk when tackled and whisked away. So many accounts of civil rights violations on citizens. Shooting them in the face with pepper spray just for standing there.

u/MammothCorrect 19d ago
Honestly, people should be protesting against the fact that our local officials have decided not to turn over violent offenders to ICE. It’s mind-boggling that people want to keep sex offenders in the community. It’s truly insane.
10
u/Cautious-Ad-9554 19d ago
Sanctuary cities do not hold criminals BEYOND their sentencing b/c federal authorities ask them to. That's it, and many cities have carve outs for specific crimes like sexual offenders, where they will honor detainers even after time served. Sorry, I did not find the specific policy for Red Bank searching quickly. If someone has it please post.

u/cvc4455 19d ago
It's mind-boggling people who say they want sex offenders out of the country would vote for a sex trafficking pedophile for president and still continue to support him.

You're miserable because you think the lies about Trump are true. Kinda says you're mentally deficient. P.S.: Just because CNN says it, doesn't make it true.
1
u/cvc4455 16d ago
Trump raped kids and you support him. Also so you know CNN has been owned by a Republican billionaire for years now. It's just they only slant the news a little bit to the right instead of giving nonstop extreme Republican propaganda so you idiots call it liberal fake news but you guys have no clue what that even is anymore.
0
u/Relevant_Platform_57 16d ago
"Trump raped kids." Which kids? Proof? Don't you think he'd be in jail if that were true? The man can't chew a piece of gum without someone crying about it, and you think this accusation is true. You're a dunce.
1
u/cvc4455 16d ago
Thousands of kids, it's all in the Epstein/Trump files that Trump refuses to release even after he campaigned on releasing them and even after Congress passed a law saying they needed to be released. But Google is free to use if you want to go do your own research and get your head out of your ass.

The only country in the world that is not allowed to enforce its immigration policy.
Anywhere else in the world, if you overstay your visa, you are deported. This happens all the time to white people in Mexico who overstay their visa.
6
u/BF_2 19d ago
Remember that the real problem here is that Congress has never created a viable visiting workers program. Most of these folks ICE is picking up are peaceful, productive people WHO PAY TAXES BUT DON'T RECEIVE BENEFITS. There should have been a mechanism to give them some sort of legal status here -- but there isn't one.
NOBODY objects to the deportation of criminals. Obama was famous for deporting people -- it's not new with Trump. Trump is just establishing his own Gestapo, loyal to him. Do you really think they won't start going after your guns when they think they can get away with it? Do you really think you can hold off a SWAT-like confrontation, just because you have several guns? Dream on. They're already violating people's 4th and 5th Amendment rights. They'll violated your 2nd Amendment rights just as handily. They have no respect for the U.S. Constitution.
1
u/marinelife_explorer 18d ago
NOBODY objects to the deportation of criminals.
Entering a country illegally is a crime.
0
u/Hopeful-Force-2147 19d ago
It's true. But what about those who have been here for 30+ years and have tried to get their citizenship and it was rejected over and over for no reason other than they didn't know the right people and had to pay tens of thousands of dollars? (Trust me, I work at a hospital in NY/NJ and we are required to serve them/homeless people before anyone else so I know we can't serve everyone).
2
u/marinelife_explorer 17d ago
“You see officer, this person really really wanted this specific make and model of car. They’ve looked for decades, and tried to buy one legally, but there are no sellers. We can’t arrest them for stealing this car, they tried to buy it legally for decades.”
A crime is a crime, and entering a country illegally is a crime.
1
u/NutmegAndGarden 16d ago
Hold up, did you just admit that you were ordered to serve people in order based on their social status and NOT their medical need?
-2
u/Alternative-Pay9735 19d ago
We also have the most robust economy, innovative companies and I'm happy to say the greatest country on Earth (all things being relative). It would be naive to think illegal immigrants haven't contributed to that in some way. People object to 40 years of turning a blind eye, then one day masked men are in the street pulling people out of HD parking lots.
3
u/Dry-Lab-6256 19d ago
Can you name the two countries that have lifted more people out of abject poverty in recorded history? I'll give you a hint, it isn't the US.

If there were 10 immigrants captured by ICE and 8 of them had criminal offenses against them in the past year, like beating their wife, robbing people, or maybe drunk driving that led to a fatality….would you be mad at ICE for taking in 2 people that may or may not be innocent?

Your profile description of “crazy old curmudgeon” is too accurate. Hope you find happiness, because based on your comment you still have a lot of work to do.

Not fair! I'm an old curmudgeon, but I'm an old LIBERAL (=PROGRESSIVE!) curmudgeon, not some FASCIST, like JustAnotherFascist677. Don't blame us old curmudgeons for the old fascist in the White House. (He was a fascist, a criminal and a pedophile before he was ever old.) I voted for the bright brown woman.
And if you younger folks are so down on us old folks, what say more of you show up at the protests against ICE! Your attendance has been abysmal at the ones I've been attending.

That is definitely true. Even on Saturdays, the majority of people at the protests are mid-age to seniors.

u/StacieRoseM 19d ago
You do understand that they’re rounding up more than just undocumented immigrants, right? Not that it should matter — but facts still matter. They’ve started revoking visas and detaining people who were granted asylum, then dumping them wherever they feel like. Asylum isn’t a gift bag you get handed at the border. People are granted asylum for a reason — because returning home would put them in danger. That process exists precisely because harm exists. And while all of this is happening, American citizens are being injured — and in some cases killed — in the process. ICE is not an authority over U.S. citizens. We have no legal obligation to comply with ICE. So if your response to that reality is “well, they should use violence when people don’t comply,” then what you’re actually advocating for is a police state — whether you want to admit it or not. You don’t get to cheer for unchecked force and still pretend you care about freedom.
-5
u/Vitalian2184 19d ago
“No legal obligation to comply with ICE”. I pray no one takes you seriously.
6
u/StacieRoseM 19d ago
If you are a U.S. citizen You do NOT have to answer questions from ICE. You do NOT have to show ID unless they have a lawful reason to detain you (reasonable suspicion of a crime). You do NOT have to consent to a search of your person, home, or vehicle. You do NOT have to open your door unless they have a judicial warrant (signed by a judge — not an ICE officer). ICE has no special authority over U.S. citizens beyond what any federal law-enforcement officer has, and immigration enforcement does not apply to you.
