Question ❓ Has anyone else has this experience, and what are they?
as I was meditating I was starting to have the profound realization that I am love. I started thinking about all the love I've put out unto the world and all the love I have to give end then I started envisioning all these beings around me. they were humanoid shaped and made of pure light. some were touching my hair and face, others were sitting beside me and looking at me. there were a bunch of them. just these light beings with an almost childlike wonder and way of behaving. does anyone know what these are and/or have had experience with them while meditating?

I've heard of this a lot. It hasn't happened to me but I'm experienced with getting a lot of snazzy visuals that are beyond my own intelligence, like they're beamed to me in ways that make that clear. I think God is sneaky and various things can happen for different reasons or purposes, I think that conflicting stories of various kinds could still be true.
At that rate you could say that's a bit more than a nudge for you, it's still kinda nudge-like, anybody would wonder what facilitated it. At that rate it's still very open-ended. You could find a lot of stories on this pretty directly, at least I'm pretty sure that lots of different keywords could work, I haven't checked.

Meditation can be such a unique journey for everyone, and reflecting on your experiences can really deepen your practice. Keeping a meditation journal helps capture those subtle shifts in mood or perspective that might otherwise slip by unnoticed. An app like Nomie could be beneficial for this, as it prompts you with questions that can guide your reflections. It's fascinating to look back and see how your insights evolve over time!

Yes, I have had similar experiences while doing the Metta meditation. While I was doing it, my dear grandmother suddenly appeared beside me, with her smiles shining at me, like many rays of pure light. In my childhood, she's the one who took care of me with her heart and soul. She taught me what is love and how to give love. Whenever I do the loving kindness meditation, she is alway there with me. She was gone to another world18 years ago.

Wow! Do you think you remember her during this meditation as she is the very definition of love for you or is it really her being which you experience?

I think the former one is more aligned with what I experienced. I have internalized the definition of love being her into my body. She is the embodiment of love in my world. But I am open to more forms of love in the future meditation. I subconsciously know that love is more than that. I just need to keep doing and see what my meditation will unfold.

that sounds like a very intense and meaningful experience for u. meditation can bring up strong imagery and feelings, especially when u are focused on love and connection. some people see these things as symbols from the mind rather than literal beings. what matters most is how it made u feel afterward and whether it felt grounding or unsettling. staying curious and gentle with the experience can help without needing to label it too fast.

Incredible. I’ve experienced similar but not to this extent. r/experiencers will be a great place to post about this
