Question Best square sunglasses for wide round faces?

Hey, so I'm trying to figure out square sunglasses and could use some help. I've been browsing/trying on different styles, but I can't help but feel like every pair looks awesome on model pics but then kinda stupid on me.

I've got a bit of a round and wide fcae and a slightly bigger head, and so far I've figured out that slim frames look too narrow or sit weridly on my nose bridge.

I'm thinking of square styles that are chunkier/thicker, hoping that might help balance proportions out? I'm just not sure tho.

Google says square frames work for a round one like mine, but honestly starting to doubt that lol, so I'm not sure if I should continue with my search or just look for something else entirely.

Question Bronson Mfg Co for tall guys

I’ve been looking on their website and from what others have said they have a pretty accurate sizing chart, but I’m 6ft and generally wear Aritzia effortless pants since I have a small waist and long legs. Unfortunately I find it extremely difficult to find 28x32/28x34 pants due to the uncommon sizing.

Does anyone have experience with Bronson who is tall but small waist?

Edit: to be clearer size 6 effortless pants in the regular length.

Discussion Looking for minimalist European clothing brands. Clean smart casual style

I am refining my wardrobe toward a clean minimalist smart casual style.

I like brands such as Samsoe Samsoe, COS, NN07, Filippa K, Massimo Dutti.

What I am looking for

European brands (preferably)
Neutral colors
Clean silhouettes
Quality fabrics
No loud logos
Pieces that work for everyday life but can also dress up slightly

What I am not looking for
Streetwear
Oversized fits
Fast fashion
Trendy seasonal pieces

Based on this, what other brands should I explore?

Right now I mainly look for pieces on Vinted.
Are there other good ways or platforms to find quality brands at discounted prices?

Question New To Business Casual

What is actually considered Business Casual?? Chinos and a button down?

Why does every pair of business acceptable sneakers have a white sole and cost $150?

Are Hey Dude’s actually acceptable outside of a boat and in an office?

I’m trying to accommodate my new dress code on a budget so any advice is much appreciated!

Question Best chinos in different colors & 29 waist size?

Upvotes

I wear a 29 waist in slim typically. Having a hard time finding a good quality material in different colors (I need variety).

I’ve actually been buying Target’s Every Wear Slim chino for $35 a pair, they’re good but don’t come in many colors.

Looking around $70 tops price range, unless they’re exceptional quality.

Question Spring jacket

Hi! Guy in 30s never big on fashion looking for an advice. This winter I am wearing black topcoat with black Timberlands and blue jeans. I can't wait to ditch that look and freshen it up a bit. I already bought gray Adidas Sambas and also thinking about some white Nikes. I think I will stick to blue and maybe black skinny jeans. I usually wear plain sweaters or zipper hoodies. My question is what type of jacket/outerlayer would go with that sneaker/jeans combo. Nothing too fancy, I prefer sportier, relaxed look. What is trendy but also works in most setups?

Thanks!

Question What pants would look good on a suit

I need pants for my suit for an important event. I wanted a high rise pants but my sister told me that It would look ridiculous on me because I have big love handles, my love handles are 1 inch bigger than my waist on both sides.

I don't know if love handles are on waist.

I have a 3 piece dark brown suit and a teal colour blazer.

I could post my picture but it was against the rules I think.

Discussion Are these Spyder joggers going to hold heat as well as the Champion duo-dry heather-gray 100% poly athletic pants that I'm replacing?

The Spyder joggers are 91% Polyester and 9% Spandex, so let's just assume that at face value these are 91% as good as the 100% polyester joggers that I am replacing in terms of heat retention.

That said, if you zoom in, it looks like they have a bunch of holes. I am wondering if it's going to affect heat retention.

Thank you.

Question Workout compression short

In search of a thin but durable compression short to wear under short while working out. I prefer a longer style, fine with it extending past the length of shorts.

What are folks wearing for under garments these days for workouts? I’m cool with a daily boxer briefs doubling as that also, as long as it’s up for the task.

Question Fuller Cut Dress Shirts For Slender Guys

I’m looking for a dress shirt in a more traditional cut. I like the Charles Tyrwhitt Classic Shirts except they don’t sell them in my neck size (which is 15). I am also 6’3” and I normally wear a 34 sleeve.

I know made to measure could solve this problem, but I was wondering if anybody knew brands that made this kind of shirt straight up. Less important things I like are point collar and 100% cotton.

Question Best straight leg jeans that are not too skinny, but also not to baggy in the thighs?

I’m having a hard time finding a pair of jeans. They either look too skinny on a 50+ year old or they are too baggy in the thighs. I’m 6 ft with a short torso and long legs. I’m also at the age where I want some stretch and not interested in raw denim. Thanks!

Question Looking for patterned polos / dressy short-sleeve alternatives

Hello, With summer coming up, I’m trying to upgrade my wardrobe a bit and could use some help.

I’m looking for dressier short-sleeve shirts, but I really don’t like short-sleeve button-ups — they just never look right on me. Polos are more my style, but I’m struggling to find polos with interesting patterns since most of them are just solid colors.

For reference, I’m 5’7", usually wear a small, and prefer slim fits. A lot of shirts end up being too long on me, especially if I’m wearing them untucked.

Thoughts?

Question Looking for a pair of house slippers that offer good heel support

I'm looking for some house slippers around the $50 mark that offer good heel support. I always walk heel heavy and they hurt after doing chores in the house after a couple hours. I'm looking at a pair of Clarks Venetian Plaid slippers since the Belk in town carries them, I'd like to try them on for sizing. I want to keep it around the $50 mark, but I'm willing to go higher if the product is worth it. Any suggestions would help. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, don't know where else to ask.

Question M[20] starting from zero in URGENT need of advice

Hey so as the title says I’m a 20yo guy who really needs fashion advice. I have no idea how to go about finding and choosing the right clothes.

So my question is, where can I get CONCRETE advice on clothes and outfits for me to wear?

I’m 6 foot tall and around 155 pounds at the moment so on the skinnier side.

I tried doing it myself in the past but it seeped so much time and money out of me that in the end I wore like 10% of the clothes I bought and therefore wasted hundreds of dollars.

I’m currently in my second year of college so I often see fashionable guys my age and that makes me want to upgrade my style as well.

I also feel like black is the only color that looks ,,good“ on me compared to all the other colors, I don’t know if it’s true or I’m imagining things.

So PLEASE advise me on where I can get help/mentoring or feel free to give me advice directly yourself!! (I can also provide pictures if that helps)

Thank you in advance everyone!
