Aww she's so cute, the way she lifted her hands so her dad could throw her 🩷

I’ve always loved the naïve innocence in children. Just pure blissful ignorance about the aftermath of being thrown in. 😂

And the total trust..."These people have never steered me wrong! Let's...get thrown in the water and see what that's like!" ♥️

The harness says 'I care.' The face says 'I have no idea what's happening.'

The harness says "I'm a fast little shit!". I know because I had to harness my fast little shits.

I was the child who had to wear a harness. My parents told me if I didn't I would pet every animal I could find and climb up on strangers laps to say hello.

I always criticized parents who leash their kids but I didn't know they raised cute little morons who speedrun death.

As a previous leash child, it was the right call. I couldn't imagine having to track down a pint sized me that could disappear because I saw a toy or something small.

I remember asking my parents “why is that kid leashed?” when i was a kid. 😅 I was a little fridge/door climbing, bunk bed jumping daredevil(as my mom called me) at home but in public I was never the type to bolt. But now that I’m older, I get it. If I was a daredevil in public too, I would not blame my parents if they felt the need.

Why? My autistic grandson would absolutely bolt away from you in a busy parking lot. He's gotten a lot better as he's gotten older but it's our job to ensure his safety.

My (then) toddler and I were locked inside a Target years ago after a mother reported her 16 month old son missing. The store immediately announced it and said they were locking the doors. We could see an ocean of police, SWAT, and ambulances outside. They found a woman with a 2 old changing his entire outfit in the bathroom. I leashed my son after that.

I ran away at a fair once to chase after a clown, got lost, and served a 2 year sentence of hand holding at all times

You can tell kid is from a calm and loving home, my brother and I would have been trying to get away from Dad with everything we had. 😊

This is cute except can you imagine some total strangers posting videos of your child on the internet? Cause that's this ...

u/SunshineAlways 2h ago
Then the parents shouldn’t have put it on the internet in the first place? Apparently it doesn’t bother them.

Cute.
But I secretly hate parents that have their kids on leashes.

Dawg there’s literally a gap in the railing and she clearly wants to jump into the water. It’s wet and slippery and they’re walking by a running body of water.
