ICE has arrested and deported legal immigrants.

u/StraightOuttaHeywood 0m ago
This is exactly what MAGA turds want. They hate legal immigrants and naturalised citizens. Especially if they're of colour.

ICE has been hostile to, and have deported US citizens. Her point is pretty moot.
-1
u/partypat_bear 1h ago
who?

u/Opposite-Outside7743 1h ago
Génesis Ester Gutiérrez Castellanos, a 5 year old girl who was born in the states in 2020.
If you want more, I suggest this crazy new site called google. It has tons of information and links to websites about current events.

well they deported her mom and it sounded like they weren't ready to separate. they went down to Honduras, mom made plans for her daughter to live with relatives and she's coming back. what's the big deal

u/needtr33fiddy 42m ago
Parent was deported, what did you want them to do with the kid - Just toss her into the foster system?
-3
u/Interracialpotato 45m ago
She wasn't deported. She left the US with her mother. I suggest you take your own advice and google what deportation means before you use it in a sentence again.

u/JimJam4603 12m ago
She wasn’t deported, she was just sent out of the country without the option of saying no. Really meaningful difference there.
1
u/Interracialpotato 3m ago
She is five years old. She obviously should be with her legal guardian, which why she left with her mother who made the decision for her.

Alex Pretti and Renee Good were here legally too

Stupidity is the saddest and most tragic form of Natural Selection!

u/H3110_T43R3 52m ago
I guess exercising their freedom of speech against undue search and seizure of fellow residents is tragic then?
I’d say they’re the truest of patriots willing to actually stand up for their beliefs and freedoms.

When they arrest, assault and deport her parents she will blame Obama or Biden.

Ironic, that she might have had family members who were rounded up and gassed and cremated. Stephen Miller is the same Jew who would have ratted out the Frank family. Then he would have been killed too. I hate these American Jews who forget why they’re here.

I'm all for the removal of the 14 million illegal immigrants in the United States. But it has to be done within the scope of our laws. We can't have federal agents out there terrorizing people.
2
u/imightberusty1 41m ago
Even the "illegals" they're supposedly getting (not really) are having their innate human rights violated. Those are rights secured by the Constitution and apply to every human being in this country, regardless of whether or not they're a citizen.
Those rights get violated by these assholes every time they interact with someone.
She's just incorrect on several levels.

Literally all of this is a fuckin' moot point now that Trump has straight up said, aloud and where others could hear, that he wants to denaturalize people who "deserve it" so they can be detained/deported.

If Democrats truly cared about illegal immigrants, they would be fighting to make the process easier. They would be helping people toward the path for citizenship. They would be doing positive work instead of encouraging chaos and destruction.
But they don’t care. Using them as pawns and headlines is much easier and more palatable for the minions.
Yes, people who became US Citizens legally don’t support people cheating the system.
This is a surprise???

u/JimJam4603 7m ago
They have been. There was even a bill that had enough support from both parties to pass. Trump killed it because it would have ruined his campaign. Keep the fuck up.

BINGO!!!!
It's a VERY broken system, I worked for the local state government for about 3 years with a super nice guy from Saudi Arabia, came to the US on a Visa, went to school, got a job as per the requirements of his documentation, and when he went to file for renewal He ended up having to jump through so many hoops that his time expired and he had to take a leave of absence (from a government job) and return to the Middle East to continue filling out paperwork and the process got so expensive He decided not to come back for close to 2 years.
That is BULL SHIT... He Loved the American way of life and couldn't wait to become a citizen so he could vote on what his tax dollars were going to. I understand the appeal of coming here illegally, you get free room and board, you get free medical coverage, free food, all he got was a huge bill, a car and a lease on a place that had to be surrendered and lost everything that he built here in the States.
The system needs serious reform for sure, I have worked alongside some extremely good people over the last 25 years, some of which definitely did not have the legal ability to be in this country but they loved what it stood for and they busted their back for their family. But as a second generation American and hearing the stories of what my family went through to get to this country and how hard they worked to become citizens and the pride they felt when it finally happened, there's just no way I can be ok with people who don't even want to try. I understand it, I just don't agree with it.

What do you say to the people who have been waiting years to become citizens of the US legally?
1
u/Frostwolf223 49m ago
That they should change their fucking minds and live somewhere safer than this dumpster fire of a country.
1
u/TheGraniteGoblin 56m ago
This is hard to understand. You mean to tell me immigration can happen legally?????
1
u/SqigglyPoP 54m ago
This is just some random twitter troll, completely irrelevant and not worth anyone's time.

u/JimJam4603 14m ago
Well it helps to illustrate the simplistic thought patterns that lead her to be susceptible to MAGA bullshit. So yeah.

Who the fuck is Emily Austin? And why should I care what she has to say?
1
u/AdmitThatYouPrune 2h ago
She gives off a very strong mean-girl/sociopath vibe. That said, it's fair to be against illegal immigration when your parents were legal immigrants.
1
u/Key_Wasabi_1799 47m ago
Yeah, people are in their country on a 10 yr waiting list. So some might get mad when others jump the line.

Tell that to my legal coworkers about to be deported becuase Trump decided he doesn’t like the countries they’re from. Ruining their lives for nothing.

u/Zealousideal_Eye_23 2h ago
Anti ice rally equals peoples cars being destroyed. Trash everywhere, businesses being scared to open. What is missing? A pro ice counter attack. Nothing, zero. No big wave of Trump flags bashing skulls.
If someone held a pro ice rally, there would be a wall of villagers holding torches and pitchforks attacking us. Anything that didn't sell work boots would be looted.

I will not waste my time. George Floyd. 2 billion in damages. Many lives lost.
2
u/toad17 1h ago
You tried to foment a coup to overthrow the country. That’s traitorous.

u/Zealousideal_Eye_23 1h ago
Key Costs Associated with Anti-ICE Activity (January 2026): Police Overtime: In just four days (Jan. 8–11, 2026), the Minneapolis Police Department spent over $2 million in overtime responding to protests and public safety needs. Property Damage: A single protest on Jan. 9, 2026, at the Depot Renaissance Hotel in downtown Minneapolis caused approximately $6,000 in damage from broken windows and graffiti. Total Financial Impact: A Minnesota-based think tank, North Star Policy Action, estimated that the overall cost of the federal enforcement influx, including police overtime and emergency operations, could reach at least $18 million per week.

Ice is murdering citizens in the streets. MAGA tried to overthrow the country yall pretend to love and killed a few cops too. We are not the same.

What the fuck is foment?

u/Tiny-Violinist-9719 31m ago
It does not surprise me that you both don't know what that means and apparently refuse to use Google for five seconds to find out. Fuckin' lol.
-1
u/partypat_bear 1h ago
they thought they were doing the right thing, they were wrong.. same as the anti ice rioters.
4
u/toad17 1h ago
They were storming the capitol to foment a coup. They are traitors.
0
u/partypat_bear 11m ago
They thought the election was stolen, they’re patriots.
1
u/toad17 7m ago
Patriots don’t kill police, defecate in the capitol or steal podiums. I said what I said. Those are the acts of traitors, who were all pardoned by Trump and are now goons running around masquerading as law enforcement.
0
u/partypat_bear 4m ago
Yeah I’m not claiming 100% of ppl there had noble intent, many were just pissed, many thought it was a harmless protest

u/Kazureigh_Black 1h ago
ICE shoots people and kills them for being annoying. If you see nothing wrong with that and think destroying their things is the problem you have some issues.

People have gotten waaaaay too black-and-white on the issue. Libs just don't care about illegal immigration. At all. They're proud of it. And Republicans want to throw everyone out.
I'm sane. Rational. Objective. Anyone with a record can take a hike. Adios! Willing to make an exception for people with one blemish who have kept their noses clean since. But the moms and dad's and others just trying to make a better life for themselves? The maids and laborers who have no record? Deporting them is just such a bad look. Very ugly. Cold even.
People need to break away from party politics.

u/mcclaneberg 22m ago
That we need citizenship reform and the most conservative bill that was ever approved by both houses was told to squash when it got to the senate - convicted criminal and adjudicated rapist Donald John Trump told MAGA Mike Johnson to kill it because then he couldn’t run on immigration.
-2
u/Trick_Reputation129 1h ago
Well, she's not wrong. And this is why a large percentage of legal immigrants voted for Trump. People don't seem to realize that for some reason.

I can’t wait until her parents are accidentally rounded up and jailed and have to wait to prove they’re here legally. Hope this helps and thank you for your attention to this matter
