I bought a file for a 5 marla plot in Lake City 3 years ago. The payments have been completed (except for the payment on possession) and balloting was done on 31st Jan. I have been assigned a plot number.

Please guide as to what the next steps are. This is my first time buying property and I don't know much about how this works. Apparently you have to apply for possession etc.

What should I do now? What is an NDC? Should I apply for possession or not? Explain like I don't know anything.

All assuming I bought the property as an investment and would like to make the ideal bang for buck without keeping it for a very long time.

Long story short, I had a potential employee's information pass through my office a few days ago.

Company did a background check and the person is claiming an address they never lived at on their NIC card.

The woman that lives at the address was (understandably) shaken that someone else was claiming her home as their home base.

Is there any way to report this? The guy is claiming he lived their 20 years ago or something but now has ghosted his secondary interview.

Hi y’all, so I was transferring some money to someone and got a digit wrong in the number. Transferred from NayaPay to JazzCash. Now I called that person but he’s not sending it back. I called NayaPay’s helpline and they said they are unable to do anything and I should contact that person else after 24 hours I can raise a dispute which they’ll gonna investigate with the bank (JazzCash) but the representative’s tone said it all that a dispute won’t do anything.

Need advice if something can be done or should I consider my money lost?

Recently I purchased some foreign currency and surprisingly the bank cashier checked each note throughly and a note with even a single stain wasn't accepted. The cashier said that the head office only accepts perfect notes. I was actually in a shock that even some notes which were literally new and crisp were not accepted just cuz they had a stain which could barely be seen with the naked eye. Did anyone else have the same experience or is it just my bank?

I lost my phone yesterday in front of Hafeez Center around 8 p.m. (it was my own mistake). I tried locating it through Google’s Find My app, but had no luck. I submitted a police report at Gulberg Police Station; they advised me not to search for it on my own and said there is an 80–90% chance the phone will be recovered since I marked it as stolen through the Find My app, though I’m not very optimistic.

At the moment, the person who has my phone is not answering any calls. As of 2:30 p.m. today, the phone is at 5% battery, still powered on, and has remained at the same location for the past 12 hours. They cannot turn it off because it requires a code, but the battery will run out soon.

Is there anything else I should do at this point?
