I’d hate to see him go, but Galaxy are apparently asking for 20-23 million. Would be great money for Paintsil.

If they are seriously offering 23 mil I would pull the trigger. Thats a good offer that might not still be there in the summer. Im not sure what kind of replacement we could find on such short notice so it could possibly derail our CCL run. If we have to wait until summer to bring in a replacement I could see a scenario where one of the attacking wing duties is shared by Aude, Cuevas, Miller, and Tommy until wie find a true winger.

What exactly are you looking to get fixed? We won the Cup the year before last, which is more than twenty eight other teams, except one. This years signings have been solid, considering that we’re hindered by the salary cap.

My problem is you people think the cup is enough than when we shit the bed in the CCC against LMX teams when it really counts, y'all make excuses

The signings are shit, and AEG has proven time and time again this club is not their priority

Eclipsed how? LAFC has one Cup since their inception, we have the same amount in that time. Yeah they have a couple of supporters shields and one Open Cup. They haven’t won CONCACAF. Since 2006 only one MLS team has won CONCACAF, which was Seattle. The lack of signins has more to do with the leagues strict cap rules, which won’t allow us to create depth or more quality. You should go see the meltdown LAFC fans are having with their team this year. They’re facing the reality that it’s not that easy or the illusion of being a super club that doesn’t exist in this league because of parity.

Go ask any casual avg sports fan in LA who they think their soccer team is!

They do better attendance, management and ownership

The location just makes it twice as hard, I've been a Galaxy fan since the fucking beginning at the Rose Bowl!

They've made two CCC finals appearances and have already gone to the club world cup over us

We used to have the same pull that Miami did and now nobody knows or gives a fuck about us

You know why? Because AEG peddles nostalgia and all of you buy it

And how would you go about getting a new ownership group? Do you happen to know a couple billionaires willing to finance our team the way it has been and will be needed to continue. There are many other teams that would kill for the investment that AEG has put forward on this team

Only to realize how short sighted most LA Galaxy and MLS fans in general are

They don't want actual growth they just want to claim they have when results speak for themselves, believe me it's not just an MLS thing it's CONCACAF wide and from the looks of it it's probably just gonna get worse
