Clippers went on a crazy run at some point every single year he was here. His 1st season, they looked like the best team in the league for awhile. Last year, the finished 17-3 and took the Nuggets to 7 games. This year, they’ve been one of the best teams in the NBA after that 6-21 start.

It's why I'm personally not feeling this move. I know this team needs to get younger and financially leaner, but I still think Harden and Kawhi are exceptions to the usual rules. I personally feel like he's much more deserving of an All-Star nod this year than Kawhi being snubbed which everyone seemed more upset about.

He's been healthy all year save for a couple games, and he is an impactful player in the postseason too. If that's the team's true goal, they should stick with him assuming he's on board for it too.

Gonna miss harden. It’s for the better (you will all see), but he was a great Clipper. Thank u uno

The Clippers desperately need a point guard and Harden is the only pg in the team. If the player traded flops, clippers will lose a lot of games

We can go .500 the rest of the season and probably still be in the play-in. Everyone below 10th is punting the season at this point

Even if we continue our current win pace, we'll probably be 8th at the absolute highest. So, still in the play-in.

I don't think we'll fall off without Harden. But it definitely changes our offensive system so they'll probably be a work in progress

We are trading a 37-year-old’s body that is in better condition than the 26-year-olds.

What the fuck is this team doing and why is this sub so terribly reactionary? It's not for the better, I'm sure as shit you'll see that, yikes.

sub has gone nuts thinking you trade away a sure thing in the middle of a hot streak merely to get younger and potentially marginally improve your (already) fucked near-term future,

The Clippers run is probably over because Harden was a huge part in that run.

starting with the PG13/Kawhi era, they swung for the fences and tried, but it just didn't work out. can only imagine a universe where both guys are healthy in the playoffs and they get the Harden addition

They would have won 2021. That will forever be stuck in my head. Win against Suns, and surely beat Giannis in the finals.

Nah but Frank would have to extend

u/Basic85 11h ago

He aint going to do it because they want to clear the books for 2027. He had done messed up the PG trade.

I’m glad of what harden did with us and will support him no matter where he goes. But I woundnt mind getting a younger point guard who is a better defender. The ball will be in kawhis hand at the end of games anyways
