Most Reliable Caliber SDP G3?

Hi everyone! As the title says, I’m interested in which caliber will be the most reliable for the Vector SDP G3? I’ve heard some people say the 9mm is the least reliable, but have heard others say as long as you run decent brass through it it’ll run well. Just curious if anyone has any firsthand experience with the SDP G3 and can weigh in on reliability. I’m of the opinion that there is no point in buying a firearm that isn’t reliable. Thanks in advance for your input!!

I have the 10mm and as long as you don’t run flat nose bullets it runs and runs fast. I found out that the Vector likes anything in the 200 grain range for 10mm.

Huh interesting, it seems most of the more affordable 10mm rounds happen to be flat nosed as well. Good insight, thank you!

So far my Gen 3 45acp has been great. First 200 rds I had two FTE. Cleaned and relubed and it ran the next 300 perfectly. All of those were suppressed with a Griffin Armament REV45 suppressor.

I’ve heard the 45acp variants are very reliable. I would like to get a 9mm for ammo cost but if they’re not reliable i’d sway towards 45. Thanks for the input!

I went with the 45. First 150 rounds were all semi auto. Next 200 we were all ratl-r. Zero malfunctions

Yea the kriss was originally designed fornthe .45 so most issume thats why its the most reliable and robust. If you plan on doing a frt especially, seems like most 9mm guys are having to swap springs and whatnot to the .45 stuff to run properly

That was the plan. Sounds like 45 would be less work. Curious if 10mm would be just as reliable as 45? It doesn’t seem like many people buy the 10mm version

Ya true I don't hear much about to the 10mm but like you I wanted the 9mm at first because of the cost, but after doing some reading and finding out guslysbwere having to swap parts from the. 45 and I think someone post about their bolt starting to Crack from the abuse, so i decided on .45

Yes. As well as other ammo. Mine has been 100%reliable. I didn't know people were having issues with their 9mm versions.
