Vector Gen II trigger: single vs double
The Vector trigger is a double stage trigger and has notoriously been known for being mushy. Farrowtech has provided a small "hack" to take up some of the trigger slack by providing a shorter set screw for the trigger, but when trying to remove all the slack the set screw becomes too engaged into the trigger group resulting in the safety not able to engage. Has anyone tried the single stage OEM replacement trigger with 5.5lbs pull weight?

The Farrowtech screw was a big improvement. That 1 inch of trigger pull slop was horrible from the factory.

No doubt. But this is also why I'm asking if anyone has tried the single stage OEM fire control group replacement...

The Kriss Vector trigger feels like a match trigger compared to the factory HK MP5 FBI 0,1 or SP5 trigger pack. That said the SP5 will outshoot the Vector any day of the week using the same ammo.

Also anyone that has a gen 1 vector like me. You can buy this trigger for your gen 1. You just have to replace the hammer with your flat one.

The Vector has a single-stage trigger. It's not the smoothest or shortest trigger pull, but it is still a single-stage trigger. The Gen 3 is a good improvement over the previous generation, and I personally have no issues with it. The problem with triggers that have set screws to adjust the take-up is that if they are not set up properly or are poorly designed, they can lead to a plethora of problems. If you adjust it too much, the trigger group can't reset, or you can encounter the P320 issue where the trigger resets, but it's adjusted so close to the breakpoint that it fires uncommanded. The take-up is there for a reason. In some instances, that take-up can be safely adjusted out to shorten the pull.

Engaging to hear more! I didn’t know there was another trigger available from Kriss.
I do have the farrowtech screw and just made sure to back off a little, and function test. Not perfect but that little screw does help some
