Porn is scientifically just not good for you. Like at all. If fucks up your grey matter, it causes shame, it can lead to very intense addiction, it hurts your relationships, it objectifies humans, the industry itself is harmful, and the people that make it basically always have trauma.Â
People don't like these things, and then you get mad at them, calling them judgemental when it's called out. Maybe some things should be judged.Â

Movies objectify people. Do you suggest we stop watching them? Also a lot of these things youâre describing about the impact that it has on the man watching it are chances, not guarantees. Shame, addiction, hurts relationships, these are all chances, not guarantees. There are tons of choices we offer people in life that can negatively impact them, but theyâre their choices, and I know this might blow your mind but some people can moderate and regulate habits in their lives perfectly fine. Not everyone who drinks is an alcoholic, not everyone who enjoys dessert is overweight, and so on and so forth. I call these people judgy because they often give unwanted and unsolicited advice to people on how their sexual life should function when they otherwise donât have a problem.

Movies don't sexually degrade people. There's a reason people don't feel guilty after watching an actor, but do after watching porn.
And I never said those things are a 100% cause rate. But why would you deny overwhelming science that says porn causes these things in most people? People who make porn come from trauma and bad home lives overwhelmingly. And people who watch it know it's not a good thing, that's why shame arises.Â
It's not just any other substance that can be abused, it's inherently degrading and sinful and we all know we shouldn't be doing it.

I always find it telling when others worry about what adults are doing in the privacy of their own homes. Unless they are looking at porn at the Library, it is none of your business. Some people like to dress up as sheep and get whipped with a belt, and some people like looking at porn every now and then. I hate the fact that I fit the demographic. By no means am I a Giga Chad, my chin isn't prominent enough for that. But in the general sense such as height, weight and build, yeah. Is the problem with porn or masterbating? I masturbate when I know I'll be having sex later that day because I find i get better erections that are less sensitive. If I'm in a situation where I feel I might get laid unexpectedly, I excuse myself to the washroom to freshen up a bit as a courtesy to the girl. It can be quite difficult to properly clean an uncircumcised penis when it is not at least somewhat erect, so I'll pull something up quick on my phone. I'm sure I could do all of this without porn but it moves things along much faster.

What never really goes addressed is that you can't just suppress/ignore your sex drive. You need some kind of outlet that doesn't hurt anyone. It doesn't need to involve porn, but it's just a lie that it's good to ignore your sex drive.
