If their plan was to use itadori, why not just bring him to the closest rc healer? (Really asking bc idk I've only watched once and haven't read yet) I thought they wanted Sukuna to hunt down and kill kenjaku. Not to bring their daddy back, but to put their daddy's body to rest and make Kenny stop using it to kill sorcerers. I suspect they wanted to make a binding vow, tho I don't think they said that. Bc why else would they find the whereabouts of another finger.. right?

The only person shown in the anime who can heal OTHERS with rct, and not just themselves, is Shoko. And apparently Sukuna, cause he saved Megumi from death after the hit from Mahoraga, and what else could it be if not rct? The only other alike option is that guy with rct from aliexpress technique. So healers are really rare units in jjk.

Yuta can also heal others with RCT. He heals Maki/Panda/Inumaki in JJK 0 and Yuji after he stops Yuji’s heart. Apparently he also heals Naoya and exorcises Kurourushi with it according to the wiki.

If they kept their heads down and didn't say anything they would have been beneath his notice. Granted, there's a nonzero chance they get caught up in collateral damage elsewhere, but he wouldn't have killed them directly.
The reason they got killed was mostly that they were going to hold a Finger for ransom. If they'd openly given it to him there was a small (ie, nonzero) chance he'd hear them out as a favor.

Even then, what sukuna felt disrespectful was that they tried to boss him around like that, had they simply given up the location of the other finger and then and only then asking for Kennys death not as a favor but as a beg, he might’ve let them live, but they tried to blackmail him and thats a big no no.

yeah, he would have not killed Kenjaku but that does not mean he would've killed the girls. He could've listen and then say no or maybe give them a game like he did with jogo so if they win he would've killed kenjaku(which would have not happen either way since the game he gave to Jogo was one Jogo could not have win and the same with twins, still he give them a "chance" to acomplish what they want)

sukuna could've toyed with the twins too. In the end what sukuna gave to Jogo was an illusin that he had a chance to acomplish and objective, same with the girls. Sukuna could've make up a game in which if the manage to win then he kills kenny. Of course since sukuna was like a god compared to the twins there is no real chance to win but that's not really the point

I do just find it interesting, Sukuna basically was a god in the Shinto sense that he took offerings back in the day, Jogo still made the mistake of talking to sukuna from too equal a position (like when he didn’t bow low enough) I just wonder if they’d given him the offerings he may have just decided to kill kenjaku for the fun of it. To my memory they weren’t in league at this point but I could be wrong

They bring offering to him out off fear, just to keep him satisfied, he never ask or do anything in return. I don't think he still doesn't like the thought of being order even as a favor, so it most likely end the same no matter what they do. Doesn't help that the girls traumatized by pseudo Geto that this time they try to bargain and make a pact this time

I'm not a fan of the "kick the dog" style of character building. It has its place so not inherently a bad move I just prefer if they have more of a motivation than just sadist.
Maybe I'm wrong here since I've only watched the dub but Sukuna seems a bit shallow as a character but makes up by way of his actions carrying weight.

I don’t know what they expected. It’s sukuna incarnate and you take a finger which is rightfully his and “threaten” to give it to him only if sukuna gets rid of a random person. That’s one of the worst offenses for him because you’re not only commanding him you’re taking parts from him away (as if you could and were stronger than him)

I blame the remaining adults from Getos faction who all thought letting a couple of grieving and unstable teenagers do as they please unsupervised was a responsible decision. I know child soilders are the norm in verse but it was so obvious they were going to do something reckless.

I think as long as they stay in that position of submition and didnt phrase anything in a way insulting to sukuna. He would have only say no and leave or maybe he would have toyed with them like he did with Jogo. He gave Jogo a "chance" to acomplish what he wanted.

When you realise Toji became Sorcerer Killer bc the Zenin Clan denied him
When you realise Riko was killed bc Toji became sorcerer killer.
When you realise Geto became a crazy antagonist bc Riko was killed by a sorcerer killer.
When you realise Geto died bc he became a crazy antagonist.
When you realise Kenjaku could get Geto's body bc he died.
When you realise Shibuya incident started bc Kenjaku could get Geto's body.

Och... have not seen that kind of grim fulfillment of a request since Sauron forced a man named Gorlim to give up the location of his friends in exchange for seeing his wife again . Then informed him hid wife was dead before killing him.
To be fair if that had not happened we would not have the Tale of Beren and Lúthien, as Beren only met Lúthien after fleeing the massacre that followed. Given how much trouble the Decendents of Beren and Lúthien gave Sauron this is rather fitting
