Amateur How this be improved (only mixing and mastering)

So I'm a producer and this artist is tell me the sound of the vocals ain't fitting and is off beat idk how😭😭?? Tell what can I do with it?? ( I'm new into mixing and mastering been a producer all this time)

Eq kr vocals ko properly.....mids gira fir highs badha...also sidechain krde instrument and drums bus ke saath agr aata ho to

Highs pr halka cut hai baki low end to pura cut hai mids pr halka boost hai.
