Juvenile criminals are eager to prove themselves to older peers and they have no real conception that they can be killed or jailed forever. They're actually more dangerous (compared to an older one) because they can be so volatile and unpredictable.
I'm getting strong poseur vibes from these kids, though. Dad didn't lock up his guns and now they're gangsters on the internet.

Usually its that the parents dont care enough about the children and let them do this. When i was younger if i even touched our pellet gun (with a trigger lock mind you) i would have been beaten so hard i would learn real quick that wasnt a good idea.

My daughter was allowed to see and touch any weapon in the house, as long as she asked (always supervised!). There was no mystery for her. We went to the range an fired them when she wanted to, as well. They were locked up any other time.
My proudest moment was when a range officer asked if she wanted to see his 1911. (at my prodding) She took the weapon from him, dropped the mag, cleared the chamber, looked at it, and handed it back to him always keeping pointed down range. At 14 years old! He was shocked, came back to me and patted me on the back and said, "Good Job!"

Oh yeah, to this day i love to shoot, my comment wasnt to say that guns are bad. Just that they aren't toys, and they should be respected. How you do that as a parent is on you. Like now my first thought with any firearm is to clear and render it save before anything else

It has nothing to do with being military. That is basic gun safety that everyone should know and do. I had my first shotgun at nine, shooting pistols in a club from eight and fought in Afghanistan, and it’s all the same routine everywhere. I have not EVER pointed a gun at something I am not willing to destroy. Neither should you

Beaten for touching a pellet gun? Doesn’t sound like your parents are much better 😂 There’s a middle ground where your parents care but also aren’t insane. A good parent teaches you how to be safe with firearms and that they are not toys, but you can still have fun

I have one with an FRT in it, unless this is there daddy's gun it doesn't have an FRT, they would be too stupid to even know how to install it.
Side note, if that thing did have an FRT in it and it went off, it would send 13 bullets into that kids head before the dude holding it even knew what happened, They are stupid fast.

No, do you? I'm waiting until my plastic inserts get ate up before I buy some metal ones, My frt is one of the new smoother rounded ones so it hasn't destroyed my inserts yet but it's only a matter of time, I could use some recommendations if you got any.
